Cette belle cabane pittoresque surplombe une belle rivière au cœur de la forêt nationale d'Umpqua.

Ressourcez-vous de votre vie trépidante dans la sérénité de cette cabane entourée de forêt, de faune et de rivières. Lisez un livre dans un hamac surplombant la rivière, profitez d'un bain paisible dans le bain à remous tout en écoutant la rivière qui coule, ou savourez une tasse de café tout en admirant la nature et en écoutant la faune environnante. Fréquemment visité par les cerfs, les oies, un grand héron bleu et bien plus encore.

La propriété est nichée dans la forêt nationale d'Umpqua, loin de l'agitation des villes. Certaines des activités les plus populaires sont les suivantes:

À retenir:

Il n'y a pas de service cellulaire dans la cabine. Les téléphones peuvent être connectés via le wifi (bien que plus lents que ceux auxquels vous êtes habitué) et une ligne fixe est disponible. La cabane est près d'un petit marché rempli principalement de collations et d'articles de camping, mais vous voudrez probablement faire vos courses dans une grande ville avant de vous rendre à la cabane. Canyonville est la ville la plus proche avec une épicerie. Cette cabane est également située au pays des ours et des couguars. Soyez vigilant. Ne laissez pas les enfants errer seuls. Soyez en sécurité lors de la randonnée. Nous avons également du chêne empoisonné sur la propriété. Nous avons essayé d’effacer beaucoup de choses, mais vous pourriez y tomber. Il y a du lavage Tecnu dans la cabine. Le ruisseau fournit toute l'eau dans la cabine. L'eau passe par plusieurs systèmes de filtration et a été testée sans danger, mais vous pouvez apporter votre propre eau potable si vous le souhaitez.
La saison des incendies se déroule tout au long des mois d'été. Pendant ce temps, cela peut être flou. Aucun foyer n'est autorisé. Veuillez consulter les nouvelles locales pour les incendies actifs dans la région.
L'hôpital le plus proche est à Roseburg (à environ une heure de route).

Second time here and will definitely go back. Water pressure isn't great but the beautiful home, hot tub overlooking the creek the quiet setting and peaceful vibe make it well worth the trip!

Gloriously Quiet and Relaxing Getaway

Very relaxing stay

This cabin is just amazing! Very private, well kept log cabin with a nice big yard. During the hot summer days, the creek next to the cabin was a great place to spend the day. Deers visited us on daily basis. I can highly recommend the cabin if you're looking to enjoy quiet mountain life.

Absolutely Lovely

My wife and ten-yead old twins stayed at the beautiful cabin nestled far away from nearly everything, except for a lovely creek, hammocks, a hot tub, cozy beds, and my kids' favorite, an old Super Nintendo. We spent time at Crater Lake which was a beautiful drive just under 2 hours away.

The cabin itself was awesome and had everything we needed plus fun extras for entertainment. But the landscape took the cake! The river, the mountains, the wildflowers... we only wish we could've stayed longer!

Excellent in every way

The very best destination for quiet, beauty, and comfort. Great hosts who really care about their guests. Gorgeous, fully functional "cabin" located in a remote natural paradise. This is our favorite vacation spot for refreshing our spirits and healing our minds while swimming in and playing beside the beautiful South Umpqua.

Mom’s trip

My best friend and I are making this an annual trip (2 moms and 3 kids). This was our second trip to the cabin - we came last year for a spring stay and knew we had to come back for summer. It feels like a secret gem, tucked into the woods. The river is beautiful, the hot tub is relaxing, and the house is perfect. Everything you need all in one spot. The house is cozy and clean and well stocked with supplies. Love the remote setting and ability to unplug and enjoy time together here. Thanks so much for sharing this special place!

Amazing quiet getaway

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for - escaping the city noise for some peace and relaxation. The hot tub overlooking the river is where it's at!! The check in process was easy with very clear and accurate directions and the cabin was very clean upon arrival. We were happy we picked up all our supplies in Medford, as you really are quite far away from civilization with grocery stores and restaurants.

Riverfront Farwood Cabin is magical. The location is perfect, the grounds are very well kept and the home is immaculate. As we are finishing our stay, two deer are grazing in the front yard. We contacted our hosts with one question during our sat and they responded immediately. We'll be back!

Creekside utopia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this creekside utopia. The log cabin is lovely - rustic, clean, and inviting. The large generous front porch offers a place to contemplate the evening hours after playing games on the lawn. Outside the gate is a beautiful creek to explore or enjoy in lawnchairs or hammocks. Mornings in the hot-tup were a highlight. We could not be more happy (unless we were still there). The location is a bit remote - perfect.

Excellent place to get away

Jackson Creek was the highlight for my kids and me. We spent hours each day exploring and playing in it. The water depth varies between 1 and 3 feet on average. I highly recommend bringing water shoes for traction. The big open yard was also great for games of football, baseball, frisbee, and croquet. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and we enjoyed the library of movies and board games.

We love the outdoors. Grew up camping on the South Umpqua and fell in love with the area. Having a cabin on a river in the woods was always a dream and now we can share this dream hosting our home with others. Hiking, trail running, swimming, floating the river, and spending time with family are our favorite things to do.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This beautiful picturesque cabin overlooks a beautiful river. Recharge from your hectic life in the serenity of this cabin surrounded by forest, wildlife, and rivers. Read a book in a hammock overlooking the river, enjoy a peaceful soak in the hot tub while listening to the running river, or enjoy a cup of coffee while gazing out at nature and listening to the surrounding wildlife. Frequently visited by deer, geese, a great blue heron and much more.

Things to keep in mind:

There is no cell service at the cabin. Phones can be connected via wifi (albeit slower than you may be accustomed to) and there is a landline for use. The cabin is near a little market filled with primarily snacks and camping necessities, but you probably want to get your groceries in a larger town prior to driving to the cabin. Canyonville is the closest town with a grocery store.

This cabin is also located in bear and cougar country. Please be alert. We also have poison oak on the property. We’ve cleared a lot, but if you do run into any, there is Tecnu wash in the cabin.

The creek supplies all the water in the cabin. Water goes through multiple filtration systems and has been tested safe, but you are welcome to bring your own drinking water if you desire. The water pressure is also lower than most are accustomed to. Sometimes it can be challenging to have multiple sources of water running simultaneously.

Fire season runs throughout the summer months. During this time, it can be hazy.
