Very comfortable apartment for one night or an extended stay. Quiet location in a nice neighborhood yet near major roads. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed.

It was ok. Definitely a vrbo that is old and used. The TV internet didn't work very well. The blow dryer didn't work. On the positive it had laundry facility and was in walking distance of shopping and restaurants.

It was a little difficult to find the rental at first from our GPS, but we persevered and found it. The unit is basic, but perfect for a night or two in Anchorage. Clean, heater worked fine and curtains kept the light out. We had 3 folks ring our doorbell late at night, but they left when we didn’t answer. Neighborhood is ok- overall felt safe there. Easy access with a car to stores and activities.

Convenient location.

Besides getting use to all the one way streets that made it difficult to backtrack after a missed turn and ending up in a parking lot, that google maps sent me to, not realizing the street I needed was part of the parking lot. Once figured out the location was very convenient to get to places we wanted to see and do. The place lived up to its discription and was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here.

Spacious unit close to everything. Full oven for cooking and a television for just relaxing was nice as we prepared to go back home.

It was a perfect place for my daughter and I to stay for state volleyball. The bed is very comfortable and there is a good kitchen with supplies for cooking.

Great Location

This place is very convenient to downtown and easy access to grocery and other shopping, restaurants and places to see. Just 10-12 minutes to the airport makes it really easy to get to and from as well. Host is extremely responsive and accommodating, and the place is comfortable and clean. If there is someone staying upstairs it can be a bit noisy with thumping, but very minimal generally.

Home Away from Home

Excellent, charming, clean quiet apartment. Perfect for two people. Everything in the looks like it has been newly freshened up in the apartment with the exception of the carpeting. We made sure to keep the space in good order during our stay!

Hello! I'm Johanna and I was born and raised in Alaska. My husband Don, my daughter Aily and I love living here. We are very outdoorsy and spend our summers hiking, fishing, camping, clam digging, octopus hunting, and flying around in our Super Cub. In the winters I hibernate. ;)

I am a woman who wears many hats. First and foremost I'm a wife and mother. I am also a professional shopper for a couple of remote Alaskan lodges and I'm an entrepreneur on top of it all.

My husband Don is a commercial property manager and is one of the owners of the 11 plex where the apartment is located. He is an avid hunter and fisherman, filling our freezer for the winter with free roaming game and fish! He loves to fly, play hockey and climb mountains.

My daughter Aily is finishing 1st grade and is excited to be seven years old! She loves our outdoor life and playing soccer.
