Peaceful Lakefront Cabin à Deerwood près des pistes cyclables de Cuyuna

Élégance rustique au bord du lac. Cadre idéal pour des vacances reposantes en toute saison. Spacieuse cabane en rondins sur 2,5 acres. 4 chambres à coucher, 2 bains et demi, à quelques minutes du réseau de pistes cyclables de Cuyuna et de "La capitale antique de la région des lacs". La cabine est à 200 pieds de la rive du calme Black Lake; assez grand pour faire du ski nautique ou du tube [il y a un accès public. . . apportez votre bateau]. . . mais assez petit pour explorer avec un canoë, pédalo, ou Stand Up Paddleboards / kayak. Moins de 1/4 de mile de l'accès public au lac Serpent. Vous vous trouverez souvent le seul bateau sur le lac. La location comprend l’utilisation d’un bateau à pédales PK4400 Paddle King [4 adultes, d’une capacité de 820 lb], d’un canot, d’un petit bateau de pêche [rames seulement] et de 2 planches de stand-up Paddleboards [un couvre-kayak]. Les gilets de sauvetage, les slalom skis et les floaties sont fournis. Radeau de natation privé et Aqua Lily Pad de 6 'x 18' [une île flottante portative flottante sur l'eau]. Grande cour pour les jeux, et une fosse feu accueillante [bois fourni] pour s'mores et hot-dogs. Plateau large enveloppant pour profiter du lever du soleil et l'appel des gorges. Plateau privé hors de la chambre des maîtres. Pont au bord du lac à 15 'du bord des eaux. 2 quais, un avec une section d'extrémité de 8 'x 16'. Attaché 2. Garage 5 voitures pour stocker vos vélos, traîneaux et jouets. Beaucoup de places de parking. Climatisation centrale et chauffage. Sous-sol de démarrage avec pont au sol. Pulvérisé régulièrement par des professionnels contre les moustiques tout au long de l'été.

Beautiful & Peaceful Cabin

I highly recommend staying at this cabin. Stayed here with my adult kids and grandkids and everyone had a blast! The cabin was exceptionally clean, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need for making meals. Truly the perfect home away from home vaca. Kids caught tons of fish right off the dock and we had a blast paddle boarding and kayaking. The property manager Brad was responsive and truly cares that your stay is enjoyable. We'll definitely book this cabin again!

Wonderful

The Deerwood cabin certainly lived up to our expectations for five teenagers and seven adults. The kids biked, fished, and had fun on all of the water toys provided. The house was spacious enough to accommodate all of our needs. I could not be happier with choosing this lovely cabin.

Relaxing Deerwood Stay

Beautiful property, ample sleeping space, all the amenities. We really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the lake was, well worth the trip to enjoy the quiet stay. Paddle boards, canoes, lake toys were all a hit with our group, we will stay again!

Great Place, Very Well Managed

Great place for extended family get together. Ton of stuff to do in the water (4 stand up paddle boards!), paddleboat, kayaks, etc., all in great condition. Place is very nice. Property manager Brad was very helpful.

Perfect for a Relaxing Girls Weekend!

We had a blast staying here for a girls weekend. The cabin has everything you could possibly need. Love the 3 different areas to sit down by the water. We will hopefully be back!

Magical Christmas Vacation

We stayed at the cabin between Christmas and New Years Day. There were seven of us and the cabin was more than spacious enough for us to spread out. The cabin is extremely clean and well stocked, and the property manager was excellent as well. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Very big cabin with lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed that we had anything we could need available for us in the cabin, like cooking supplies, coffee makers, even linens and shampoo, soap and conditioner in the bathrooms. The lake is beautiful and quiet with a nice dock area and plenty of seating. Many different water crafts and toys available for use. Really appreciated. Overall a relaxing, stress free stay with a much appreciated, easy check out process. No worrying about deep cleaning an entire property. Very hassle free. We really enjoyed the stay and are already talking about coming back

Best getaway for group

Relaxing beautiful property and space. 6 of us enjoyed the kitchen space, living rooms, etc. There was something for everyone whether we wanted to chill alone with a book in a quiet space, go kayak, go paddle boat, have a fire, walk, run, go into town, watch TV, hang and play games or eat together. This was our second stay and very satisfied with it.

Absolutely Perfect

Winter get away with friends was made even better with this cabin/home. Stocked with everything and then some, comfort found in every room. Perfect for groups that want to be together yet have quiet time in the beautiful sunroom. Whether watching playoff football or playing games to walking on the frozen lake, wonderful! Checkin was a dream and awesome communication at every step. Must do again gem!

Fantastic Stay

We loved everything about this property. So much to do! Even on a rainy afternoon/evening, we found games and lots of comfortable corners to read. The water toys, docks, boats, hammocks and fire pit were all used and enjoyed. The cabin was well kept and extraordinarily clean. The property manager and owner were both easy to work with and responded quickly. Would highly recommend the property.

2nd time at property

We stayed here for a long weekend with my family. Ages ranged from 14-75. A beautiful home with lots to do. Very quiet and peaceful lake and you can get on the Cuyuna bike trail from the house which we loved. Owner was very responsive and welcoming.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful lake home with plenty of water activities and games (corn hole/lawn Jenga/ping pong). Close to ATV trails (must trailer wheelers). Home was immaculate with every amenity available. Would definitely come back! Great communication with host and representative. Easy check in/check out process.

Beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property!

We had a lovely fall holiday here. Fishing, kayaking, football, volleyball, game nights and the cozy fire pit outside. The house was comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of living space to spread out and not feel on top of one another. We would book again for sure! Thank you!!

terrific lakeside cabin

The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. We especially enjoyed all the outdoors equipment -- having easy access to the kayaks, canoes, paddle boat is just terrific. We had a lot of fun on the lake and at the fire pit. We also enjoyed the very comfortable and well stocked kitchen. Brad was gracious and helpful. The biking trails nearby are gorgeous. Really -- the best Minnesota vacation imaginable. We would love to return to this cabin!

Quintessential Northwoods Cabin Close to Stores and Recreation

This property has it all. Lots of room, beautiful views, great lake, quiet woodsiness w/out having to go far for golf or groceries, and lots of water toys for all ages. Small lake is deep, clear and quiet. The hosts are wonderful and responsive. Everyone - the children, parents and grandparents - enjoyed all this location had to offer and the Crosby proximity, too. We hope to return next season.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend in January and it was the best winter getaway! Spacious rooms for all 4 families (8 adults and one infant). Wonderful gathering spaces to play games and watch movies all together. Also the perfect 4-season porch for anyone from the group to sneak away for a nap or quiet reading. We also really enjoyed the games in the garage such as jenga and bags. Being just minutes from Crosby is awesome as well for an afternoon out. We hope to be back again sometime soon!

After retiring from the US Army, we built this cabin, living here for 13 years. In 2014, we had the opportunity to teach on the island of Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands. After 10 years of living on Kwajalein, we are now doing America’s Great Loop [google it]. Not living in our cabin, and not willing to put it up for sale, we decided to let others enjoy all that it has to offer.

After having traveled the world during 20+ years of active duty in the Army, we chose to build our cabin in a small town in a location that offered four distinct seasons, each with their own unique beauties. It's nice being away from life in the big city.

It's a great area to "get away from it all." The local bike trails are truly world class, and are only getting better. The recreational opportunities offered by the local lakes are unlimited. Local hunting and fishing are top notch. The fall colors rival that of any place on earth. You can have all that, plus the quiet beauty of a campfire on [almost private] Black Lake. Here, you'll really find what being "Up North at the Lake" is all about. Come and enjoy it!
