Very well stocked home with a cozy layout. We enjoyed a weekend of mountain getaway with friends and family. Karen was very attentive and we had no issues at all.

Great property, very clean, and communicative host. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were all so nice to spend time in. I also appreciated the host giving us tips about activities, signups, etc. We hadn’t realized one of the bedrooms was more of an open loft but it might well have been in the description and it worked totally fine for us especially because it had its own bathroom. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely lodge close to Crystal Mtn.

Perfect ski weekend spot for our group of five. About 25 min drive from the ski resort, hot tub and all the amenities, surrounded by nature. Would definitely stay again!

Family Christmas

Our family stay at the Elk Mountain Chalet was wonderful. Everything at the property was as described; the kitchen was perfectly outfitted, the upstairs loft was great for the children and Karen (Host) could not have been easier to work with. There is also a nice park close by. Crystal Mountain is wonderful ski area. We will return!

Great location

The cabin sits among the trees and provides a wonderful place to relax between hikes and sightseeing. Perfect place to stay for easy access to Mt Rainier and hiking trails.

Amazing property, perfect for a group

This is an excellently-equipped property. Well-managed and the amenities were exactly as described. Plenty of space for a group of people and the backyard is perfect for relaxing: fire table and hot tub; what more could you ask for? We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone wishing to spend a few days in Greenwater.

We booked this location to go skiing at Crystal Mountain, and it was a great fit! Great location close to the mountain, could accommodate a large group, and had a well equipped kitchen with all the necessary items to cook for a large group.

Wonderful Getaway

Great property with tons to do within the ranch and very close by. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Great kitchen and awesome hot tub. Will certainly stay here again next time we visit Mt. Rainier.

Perfect experience

Exploring Mt. Rainier with out-of-town family was perfect with the chalet as our home base. Coming back to a place with warm showers, a great kitchen and grill, comfy beds, a steaming hot tub, big screen TV to watch the Women’s World Cup, and NO MOSQUITOES made our time at Mt. Rainier the highlight of my family’s trip.

Great, cozy cabin

My family really enjoyed our stay at Karen's cabin. It was enough space for all 8 of us, every bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make family meals together! The location was a cherry on top with great walks along the river, a short drive to some great waterfalls, and close to Crystal ski resort. Karen was a great host, checking in on us, and offering some great local hike recommendations. We hope to return in the future.

Hi, my name is Karen and Elk Meadow Chalet is our family vacation home that I rent out approximately 30 days a year. This is not your typical vacation rental outsourced to a property manager or rental agency, but one I oversee myself with a fantastic maintenance and cleaning team. My goal is to provide the highest quality for a vacation rental in the Mt. Rainier, Crystal Mountain Resort area. You'll find new, comfortable furnishings, quality mattresses, chef's kitchen, newer appliances, well-stocked kitchen, attractive decor and basically provide everything you need to have an exceptional stay in the mountains.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Crystal River Ranch is the closest community to the Mt. Rainier Sunrise entrance and Crystal Mountain Ski resort. We are located on a private, forested, fenced lot, that is safe and removed from Highway 410 and it’s noise. We have one of the best lots in Crystal River Ranch at the end of culdesac and walking distance to the clubhouse. Perfect location and set up for families and multi-generations to share space. Great place for youngsters to run, play in the woods and ride bikes.

We feel so lucky to have Crystal Mountain Resort and Mount Rainier in our backyard. Mount Rainier White River entrance is 20 minutes away and perfect for accessing some of the best hikes along the Wonderland trail and the Sunrise part of Mt. Rainier. The hiking and world-class views are also plentiful along Hwy 410 named one of the top 50 scenic highways in the United States. Crystal Mountain Resort is Washington's largest ski area, with 2600 acres for your skiing/boarding pleasure and over 3000 feet of vertical. Even though Crystal is close to Seattle and Tacoma, it's much more than just a locals' skiing hill. Crystal usually ends up on the top 10 lists for ski magazines' lists for best North American terrain, and it deserves the accolades. A major renovation is currently underway for the facilities. Crystal offers 9 lifts, a surface tow plus the Mt. Rainier Gondola with some of the most reliable snowfall in the Western United States, and.... if you are there when the sun shines jaw-dropping views.
