502 Tarpon Pond

Une cuisine récemment mise à jour avec comptoirs en granit, armoires et appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable vous accueille lorsque vous entrez dans ce Tarpon Pond Cottage. Cette cuisine a un nouveau réfrigérateur Samsung avec une composante numérique qui vous permet de regarder les nouvelles et d'écouter de la musique via Pandora en utilisant vos informations de connexion! La cuisine est facilement ouverte sur la grande salle, ce qui permet à chacun de rester engagé dans la conversation en famille. La grande salle a un canapé en osier, une grande TVHD et une table à manger pour six personnes. Les portes coulissantes mènent au patio avec moustiquaire qui a une grande table ronde pour six personnes et une vue spectaculaire sur le 7e green du parcours de golf Ocean Winds. À côté du patio se trouve un pont ouvert avec une table pour quatre et un barbecue au propane.

La chambre principale se trouve au premier étage et comprend un lit king-size, une télévision haute définition intelligente et une salle de bains attenante avec une douche à l'italienne carrelée dotée d'une tête de pluie et de jets pour le corps. Une porte coulissante permet d'accéder au pont ouvert et offre une vue sur le parcours de golf. De l'autre côté du couloir se trouve la deuxième chambre avec un lit queen-size, un téléviseur HD intelligent et l'accès à la salle de bain complète avec une combinaison douche / baignoire.

Montez dans la mezzanine qui est ouverte sur la grande salle du bas. Le loft ouvert a une taille normale et un lit double avec chacune une tête de lit blanche décorative. Il y a une petite chambre privée dans le loft qui a un lit jumeau avec un lit gigogne, HDTV et une salle de bain attenante complète avec une douche carrelée.

Des cartes d'agrément donnant accès aux installations du Seabrook Island Club sont disponibles à l'achat pour 25 $ / jour ou 150 $ / semaine. Ces cartes vous donnent accès aux piscines en bord de mer (en saison), au restaurant / bar en plein air Pelican's Nest (en saison), au restaurant / bar Island House, au golf et au tennis. Des frais supplémentaires sont facturés pour toutes les activités sauf l'utilisation de la piscine extérieure.

Wonderful end of summer getaway

This was our first time at Seabrook, and this house was a wonderful introduction. It took us a while to get used to the layout of the island, but once we did, we enjoyed the beach, the beach club, and beach bicycles.

Great family getaway

Lovely getaway

It was a great property - needs some pressure washing on the outside but all aesthetic! Very clean and well stocked cottage in delightful little area of Seabrook! Will definitely return !

First vacation at Seabrook

We loved the cottage. It was perfect for our family. We usually vacation at Kiawah, but we needed a pet friendly house and choices were limited. The cottage was lovely, roomy and very pet friendly with the hardwood floors and screened in porch. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

We really enjoyed the location of 502 Tarpon Pond! Short bike ride to pool/beach access and Pelican's Nest!! Although the course was under renovation it's a beautiful golf course view off the screened in porch!!

What a way to start the New YEar

We had a wonderful visit with family in the area and had time to roam the beaches and relax on the open porch and patio. Teens loved the lofted upstairs. Easy and chill. Liked the no fuss approach to the furnishings.

Cozy Family Vacation

Enjoyable stay! The only negative for our family was the lack of sidewalks in the neighborhood. We are avid runners, we wish we had known the area didn't have sidewalks or walking paths. The streets do get busy; it was challenging sometimes when cars were passing by in both directions.

Seabrook House

Our stay at this house between Christmas and New Years was great. We have stayed at Seabrook a number of times and enjoy the quiet southern end the best. The house was great and the perfect size for our family of four (and four legged friend). We don't golf, but the area provides great access to the beaches and great places to ride our bikes. We typically don't stay in the same place twice, but wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The house was well appointed, had everything we needed and was comfortable.

Great location

We love visiting Seabrook. We go every year. This was our first Christmas there. The house was just what we needed. Well supplied. Floors need to have a finish applied. They felt dirty. My sister stayed at a house with same plan down the street. Her home had chosen to open up the living area and make the screened in deck a sun room. Which made the living area twice as big. Will probably choose that house for our next stay.

Lovely Cottage

Our two families stayed at Tarpon Pond for a week long vacation and had plenty of space for all. The kitchen is well stocked if you plan on cooking, however, we found ourselves in Charleston eating at all the fabulous restaurants. There are plenty of towels and the washer/dryer was easily accessible when we needed to wash in the middle of the week. The neighborhood is quiet and not far to beach access. Our husbands raved about the golf course and enjoyed their rounds of golf, so if you are a golfer don't forget your clubs. If you want to use the beach club area and play golf don't forget to get to purchase your amenity card. We would stay again here again,

Great place to stay with plenty of room!

My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and well-kept. The only downfall was the couch was not comfortable. It was outdoor furniture put together and the different sections wouldn’t stay together. My family loves movie nights and we weren’t able to really enjoy that experience. Because of that, I probably wouldn’t stay at the property again because it also limits your entertainment space. However, aside from that, the property was great.

We enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. There was a very big ant problem though. They sprayed while we were there but the ants came back. One bed not able to be used because the ants were all over the bedspread. Also the outside trash can was removed and not returned. We love Seabrook and been going there for 10 years, We will not return to this property.

We love Seabrook!

We love Seabrook and try to go back every year! It never disappoints! We love the bike riding, the quiet beaches and looking for dolphins, sand dollars and alligators! We also found olive shells for the first time on North Beach which was really cool! They are so pretty, but they all still have living creatures in them so we threw them back. Tarpon Ponds was great! It is right in the center so it's not too far to bike ride to the main pool or to any of the beaches. There is also a shortcut at the end of the street to get to North Beach! We were happy to find out about that! We had lots of room in the house, it was clean and we enjoyed some quiet time on the deck watching golf. The next door neighbor is a bit grumpy so we did have to make sure the kids weren't too loud outside, but it wasn't a problem. The kids are ready to go back again and we will be booking the same place! Also, there is a really good coffee shop at Freshfields, called Java Java. They make yummy sandwiches and have the best coffee...especially after a long bike ride!

Seabrook Island - 502 Tarpon Pond

We had a very pleasant experience overall. Seabrook Island is a wonderful spot. We love it for it's luxurious vegetation and for all it has to offer. 502 Tarpon Pond is located in a quiet area, yet close to the beach. We found it very clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. The enclosed patio is great. Nice large TV. The manager, Coastal Getaways, is very efficient and responsive. Easy booking services. On the down side, the furniture is not very comfortable, especially the couch. The cottage is very shady, but the trees do shed a lot at this time of the year.

Great view of course and deer

This property was OK. Loved the screened in deck where we could watch golfers finishing off a hole. We also enjoyed nightly visits from three deer. The sectional in the living area was not very comfortable. It is actually outdoor furniture with lumpy cushions that sat very low to the ground. We only used the Master bedroom. The king size bed was comfortable. The walk -in shower did not have any shelving or niches for soaps, shampoo, etc.. Had to keep them on the shower floor. The kitchen is small but nicely finished. Well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, flatware and glassware. We were not able to find measuring spoons or a full set of measuring cups. Also, did not have a potato masher. Would have preferred to be closer to the beautiful beach so we could have walked rather than drive. While this property was OK, I would probably not stay here again.

Pet-friendly cottage

We loved this cottage because it was pet-friendly and therefore we could relax and enjoy our stay. We thought everything was excellent except for one thing, we could not open the loft windows. It was quite "stuffy" up in the loft especially when sleeping, so we purchased an oscillating fan to help circulate the air. Otherwise, it was great!

Honest Review

Communication with property management was fine. For the most part, they were pretty quick with responding. Check in was relatively easy. However, the place was not as clean as my family and I would’ve liked. When we arrived there were dead bugs everywhere. In addition to roaches there were also ants (dead and alive) littering the home. The property management told me the cleaning crew was there earlier that day, but there is no way any cleaning was conducted before our arrival. Management did offer to come out to clean/spray, but we brought our dog and didn’t want to risk her inhaling the fumes so we declined the offer. Truthfully, I would not stay here again.

The cottage had been recently updated in kitchen and baths. Furnishings were dated but comfortable. Luxury linens and spacious bedrooms. Lovely outdoor porch for dining.
