Waters Edge is a gorgeous 2-bedroom lodge situated on one of the most delightful spots on the holiday park.

Overlooking the ponds, and with extensive views into the woodland beyond, it offers the essence of tranquillity, peace and luxury.

The large decking area is ideally suited to catch the sun all day. Step down from here into a private courtyard garden where you will find the large hot tub, nicely sheltered from the breeze, so perfect for star gazing on clear evenings. The decking is secured on both sides with gates, offering a truly secluded and secure space.

The open plan living, dining, kitchen area is very tastefully and comfortably furnished, with the kitchen being very well equipped. There is also a utility room which houses a washing dryer, and ideal for discarding muddy boots.

Large picture windows and bi-fold doors make the most of the fabulous views on all sides.

The lodge has two spacious bedrooms, each with zip and link beds offering flexibility for guests to have either room as super king or twin. (TVs in bedrooms??). The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with walk in shower, and twin sinks, whilst the family bathroom has a shower over bath.

There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room which could sleep another two people.

An added luxury is the roomy study, which means that if you have to bring your work with you, you have a private spot to do so.

However, it’s unlikely that much work will get done as you will not want to miss out on taking full advantage of everything that Waters Edge and Hollicarrs has to offer.

Due to the generous room sizes and facilities, Waters Edge is ideal for longer stays, as well as weekend breaks.

Waters Edge will accept up to two well behaved dogs.

Since we first discovered Hollicarrs we have been back 4 times with another 2 booked.

Its a nice size park with plenty to do and close to York and all that it offers. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The lodges are clean and new with hot tubs Whats not to like.

Amazing! Peaceful and tranquil

Beautiful views of the woods and pond, watching the world go by, so peaceful, the Lodge is so spacious and has everything you need, home from home, lovely hot tub to chill in! We never want to leave Hollicarrs, it's our go to place to re charge!

Immaculate roomy lodge. Gorgeous views. Peaceful . Beautiful walks. Private hot tub. Large deck to accommodate family get together for special occasion (booked 3 other lodges for family). Great location for York lovely helpful staff. Shall be back

Lovely lodge, great park, lovely hot tub. Only thing I would say is they could do with a few sun loungers out on the decking for when the weather is nice, and could do with a light when getting out of the hot tub.

A beautiful lodge in a stunning location.

The location of the lodge with views over a stream and pond into the forest. The peace and tranquility of the setting. Opportunities to walk along quiet footpaths and nature trails, watching the hares, especially at night, and the geese with their goslingd and ducks with their ducklings. A wildlife paradise. Waters Edge was a beautiful, well equipped lodge. Excellent

A beautiful tranquil escape

My mam and I absolutely loved how peaceful the place is. It was our first time staying and we agree we will be coming back many times! With lovely friendly staff, excellently mapped out walks, a beautiful forest and very little sound. It is perfect. We loved the lodge and how cosy yet spacious it is. Everything was marvellous from beginning to end. We've already booked our next stay!
