Amazing views

Great apartment with magnificent views. Needs a microwave , exhaust fan in bathroom would help with humidity. A drying rack would be appreciated. Shared dryer does not seem to be working properly.

We had a great stay at this property and would recommend. Communication with the property management company, Wengen Apartments, was fantastic. They provided a digital guide well before our stay with arrival details, directions and resources about the area. It was extremely helpful. Check-in office is a very short and easy walk from the train station. The property is a short walk down a hill from the town center, which also means an uphill walk when leaving the apartment and heading to the train station. It won't be difficult for most. Because of the layout of the town, you'd likely encounter hills coming and going no matter where you stay. The property was very comfortable and having access to a washer and dryer was a bonus. The view from the balcony down into the valley is beautiful and we enjoyed eating dinner most nights with that view. Although not listed at the time we booked, the apartment does have a microwave and fans. The only issues we encountered were user error on our part (we knew that when contacting them) and the management company was extremely prompt in getting back to us with assistance. We loved staying in Wengen and found it to be well connected to transportation while being much quieter and less crowded than several other areas we visited. We would stay here again or with another property managed by Wengen Apartments after this good experience.

The views from the balcony and living area were incredible, and just as described. We could see the whole Lauterbrunnen valley, waterfalls and stunning mountain scenery all around. The apartment was bright and clean and efficient. This would be fine with a small family, but a bit tight for two couples. We would definitely come back.The location is great, with a close proximity to town. Guests should know, however, that there is a hill you have to go up and down that might be a bit steep for some, to get to town. It would also be helpful for the property owner to provide some basic paper products in the kitchen such as a roll of paper towels or serviettes.

Magical Place

The chalet was even better than the images. The view was unbeatable! We have stayed in many rental homes and this was by far the best! We had the most amazing vacation in Wengen and our lodging was part of what made our vacation so memorable. There is only one bedroom so my husband and I decided to take the pullout so we could wake up before the kids and enjoy our coffee on the balcony enjoying the view. Just something to consider. Great decision! House was well stocked. Ate breakfast and most dinners at home. Perfect after long days out hiking, adventuring, biking, etc. Two things to consider but were absolutely not deal breakers:1. Laundry is just outside and down the steps from front door of chalet. 2. Little bit of a walk up back to town but 1000% worth the unobstructed view. Just mentioning for anyone with health concern, injury, etc that this might affect. Tip - Do the Wengen hike down from the Männlichen. It was our favorite hike! Tip - Bike in LauterbrunnenOf all the towns in the valley, Wengen was the best! We can’t wait to go back!
