Ilfeld is picturesquely situated in one of the most beautiful valleys of the southern Harz, which is crossed by the river Behre and surrounded by magnificent deciduous and coniferous forests. Geographically, Ilfeld is part of the southern Harz and lies 260 m above sea level in a landscape conservation area and offers a wealth of rewarding hiking destinations for beautiful excursions in the immediate vicinity. We recommend the historic hiking trail, the romantic rock formations in the Ilfeld valley (Nadelöhr, Gänseschnabel etc.) and the Burgberg with weather vane and Poppenberg viewpoints. A wonderful forest bath invites you to linger.

Discover and explore all of this from your vacation home, which was completely modernized in 2018. It is located on the edge of the village on a small residential road. Surrounded by stately larch trees, the approximately 1000 m² property offers sun and shade, fresh, spicy air and always a place to do nothing.

The furnishings are modern, with little to distract from the greenery outside the window.

The bedrooms are pleasantly cool and face west, the living room with large panoramic doors opens to the south and the sun shines in for a late breakfast.

You can buy everything you need on a short walk into the village (approx. 5 min.).

Cycle paths, (circular) hiking trails, the Harzquerbahn and much more are also within easy reach.

To smile when doing nothing is just the right thing. To recharge your batteries from the wide range of activities that you can start right outside the house.
