We stayed at Laura’s for 9 nights having travelled for 3 months. It was a perfect haven to have as a base and unpack. The flat is large and fully equipped with everything you could need. It is elegantly furnished and very comfortable. Laura has a wonderful compendium of things to do and local recommendations of where to food shop and where to eat.It is a great location being so close to Gloucester Road station where you can get to almost anywhere. The neighbourhood is quiet and was a great place to go walking around exploring. Close to the museums and Kensington palace. Laura was a great host with fast responses to questions. She is very approachable and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here - we will be back

We loved the location of this very comfortable flat. Our host was kind and responsive to our communications. The space was perfect for our needs, we loved having two bathrooms! We would be happy to stay again in the future!

It’s beautiful, spacious and very clean! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the tube and plenty of great restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Laura was extremely responsive and gave us lots of great recommendations, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Laura's responsiveness and hospitality is among the top of the list of what we appreciated about this stay. The flat was comfortable, furnished and decorated with great style, and all of the necessities - and indulgences (stereo, expresso, high end bathrooms, large tvs) were provided. We enjoyed coming back to our temporary home almost as much as playing tourist!

This was a charming and comfortable home base for our 11 day visit to London. Our host Laura was there to greet us and walk us through the flat; she also was regularly available on the few occasions we had to text her questions while we were there. The flat itself is ideally located in quiet South Kensington. Gloucester Road tube station is 5 minutes away and groceries at Sainbury’s was a short 7 minute walk. The nearest pub, The Duke of Clarence, was a one minute walk away! Didn’t get a chance to try it, but an Indian restaurant is about 20 steps away and the posted menu looked tasty.Inside, the flat is well laid out, with the living area at the front and the bedroom farther back, away from the street.We loved having 2 full bathrooms and in fact, used the secondary shower more because we found the en-suite shower water did not get quite as hot as we like. The bed is a large king size one, harder to find in London. We loved the extra room. One unusual aspect of the bed is that one side is more firm and the other is softer. We both prefer more firmness in our mattress, but both of us managed to sleep well. The kitchen is compact, but had everything we need, including a combination washer/ dryer and a standalone dryer. We never could get the dryer portion of the combo to work, so I would recommend just using the separate dryer to dry clothes.As I write this, I am in the enclosed back patio- what a treat to have private outdoor space in London! We loved Laura's place from the moment we stepped in. It's everything in the photos and much more. The home is furnished and equipped to the highest standard with many extra personal touches that reflects the considerate host that Laura is.The location is brilliant, in the leafy, upmarket surrounds of South Kensington bordering Chelsea. Cafes, bakeries pubs and restaurants abound to cater to all tastes and fancies.Laura is a wonderful and very responsive host. From our very first communication, she so kindly helped us with all our questions and concerns.My husband and I rank Laura's place as our top two most favourite holiday rentals we have stayed at. We will definitely return.Thank you Laura for making our one week stay so special.
