Duel of Bristol House is a stunning Grade II listed 6 bedroom townhouse in the heart of the Old City, steps from the Registry Office, Bristol Beacon and the Hippodrome. Sleeps 12 in 5 superkings (convertible to singles) and a twin (bunks). In Banksy's heartland, it features Conor Harrington's iconic âDuel of Bristolâ mural. No on-site parking, but many car parks 3â8 mins away. Temple Meads Station is a 15min walk / 8min taxi ride. Historic, central, and perfect for group stays for work or play.
The space
Duel of Bristol House offers six spacious bedrooms, including five generously sized super king double rooms (which can be configured as singles) and a twin room with a bunk bed, arranged across the ground and first floors. Each double room features a dedicated workspace and access to superfast broadband, perfect for work or relaxation.
At the top of the house, you'll find a stunning open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area, comfortably seating up to 12 guests â ideal for groups. The property also includes three toilets and two showers for your convenience.
The whole property is yours for your booking except the basement and rear linen room.
There's a tiny courtyard in the middle of the building that has a bike shelter should you wish to bring your bike.
For added comfort and sustainability, the house is heated by newly installed air source heat pumps, ensuring your stay is both eco-friendly and centrally located.

The whole house (except the linen room and cellar) is available to guests as a home-from-home for your city break through to your work stay. Workspaces are provided in every room and a full kitchen, two shower rooms, three toilets. My husband and I fell into hosting accidentally when we were trying to buy a home with an annexe that could allow us to take care of our elderly parents. Sadly they got too frail for us to have them live with us so we started hosting to help cover care costs. We managed to keep hold of our first home, and began hosting with it after learning the ropes with our annexe.
Our day jobs are actually running a social enterprise, tackling modern slavery and labour exploitation in supply chains (try saying that really fast!) but following the pandemic, the costs for our offices got too high to keep using them. Enter plan B: we transformed our tiny offices into a huge 6 bedroomed city centre home-from-home. We've poured our hearts and souls into making it as comfy and as eco-friendly as our budget could allow. Duel House is a work in progress but we hope you'll immediately see how unique and characterful she is.
