Situated in a row of terraces, this pretty cottage is set over three floors and was once a stone mason’s residence. Perfect for a romantic break as a couple, the property boasts traditional features combined with stylish and modern furnishings, with chic decor throughout. The district of Widcombe is one of the most sought-after areas in Bath, and you will find amenities such as a pub, a shop and a restaurant just 100 metres away. Explore the historic city and visit Bath Abbey and The Roman Baths, both within 0.5 miles. Peruse the artisan market (1 mile), purchase some delicious food, and take a seat in Royal Victoria Park (1 mile) where you can enjoy some people watching.
Inside, this three-floored property is connected by a quaint, winding stone staircase. The first room you will find is the light and bright kitchen/diner, which features a beautiful decorative fireplace and everything you need to create culinary delights for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Upstairs, on the first floor, is a plush living room with sash windows and a comfortable sofa that can convert into a double bed for two additional guests. Spend an evening here watching movies curled up together. Adjacent to the lounge you will find a handy cloakroom containing a WC. When you are ready for some shuteye, alight the stairs to the bedroom on the second floor which has dual aspect windows, plenty of storage, and a sumptuous super-king-size bed. Start each day with a soak in the en-suite shower room with its walk-in rainfall shower.
Outside, via the back door leading from the kitchen, is a small courtyard garden. Surrounded by tumbling greenery and containing a dining set, a bench and a BBQ, this is a slice of tranquillity among the bustling city. Private parking for one hatchback car is also available.
