Set in the heart of Brecon Beacons National Park and within easy reach of outdoor activities and pretty towns, this stylish cottage is perfectly positioned for exploring some of Walesâ finest scenery. The centre of Brecon is less than half a mile away and is peppered with artisan coffee shops, Georgian architecture and indie book shops. Speaking of bookshops, the âTown of Booksâ, Hay-on-Wye, is 16 miles away and is a must-see for any storybook devotee. For keen walkers, Pen-y-Crug (1 mile) offers epic views from an Iron Age hillfort, while Cefn Llechid (8 miles) has peaceful trails and wild ponies. Those seeking views at a more leisurely pace may like to experience Brecon Mountain Railway (20 miles). If youâre wishing to drink in mountain views while you putt, then Cradoc Golf Club (2.5 miles) is an epic choice for seasoned golfers.
