Apartment with a superb view

Nothing would improve this beautiful apartment, location excellent, appointed to a high standard. Comfortable beds and well equipped. We loved our week in Graca. Perfect.

Poor check in

Apart from 2 significant issues, the apartment was very nice and clean. It was located between 2 popular areas in Lisbon. If the management was better I would give a 5 star review

Great Location quite street

We really enjoyed our stay. The place has everything you need. Off on a quite street with easy access to local coffee shop and local restaurants. You are only 15 minutes to the city centre and what we liked only 5 minute walk to the train station. Only drawback if you want to use the metro you would need to catch a bus to get to a station, for us no big deal. The communication with the property manager was great. We encountered a delay out of Heathrow and she was so good at making sure someone was there to let us in.

Great service and location, bad odor

The check-in and service by staff were amazing. The ground-floor apartment was clean on the surface. But upon entry there was a strong mixed odor of room sanitizer/sewage/mold. One of us is highly allergic to mold. (We were unaware that it was a ground floor unit, which we do avoid.) The property was so gracious and understanding. We were able to leave and unused nights were refunded. Would definitely consider staying at another Lisbonne Collection property if we could determine that it is not a ground floor unit.

Lovely apartment in quiet neighborhood

We loved our stay here. The apartment is very comfortable, clean, and bright. The back patio is quiet and a peaceful retreat after sightseeing. The kitchen has high quality appliances. The apartment is a short walk to Alfama, but is away from the touristy hubbub. We thought it was the perfect location if you want to experience a quiet, more typical Lisbon neighborhood (not just tourists). At the end of the block is a lovely park where neighborhood families frequent. There are two wonderful cafes and several restaurants in/alongside the park. We had many of our meals at these locations. We like to meander through cities. We found it easy to walk from the apartment to Alfama, Baixa, Avenida de Liberdade, the Castle, and several of the miradouros. Sometimes we walked home, sometimes we took Bolt/Uber. Would highly recommend this location.

Beautiful Lisboa!

The location couldn’t be better 
.or more authentically Lisbon. Everything is close by; from quaint restaurants, to shops, to Cathedrals. We typically had breakfast at a little coffee shop around the corner (Copenhagen Coffee). There’s also a little cafĂ© in the park at the end of the block serving beer, coffee and sandwiches. The metro/train system can be a little confusing, but is close by and helpful to get to sites like Sintra and Cascais. The apartment is beautifully simple and well laid out, with a little courtyard at the rear. Everything is clean and well kept, though there is a slight smell of mildew from the washroom area. I believe that’s typical in some of these older buildings, and it didn’t bother us much but you should be aware in case you have allergies. Communication was okay. There were times it took 24hrs for a response but we got our questions answered. All in all a nice place to stay. We would stay here again.

Basically, book elsewhere

Style over substance sadly. Some of these faults may seem small but collectively they add up and make living in this flat a disaster for your holiday. The (new) kettle: had to have the switch manually held down to boil; cooker large ring shorts power in flat when used (cooker may be running off an extension cable); shower either ice cold or scalding, 20 mins of fiddling only got tepid and v low pressure, one of us gave up and spent the week washing over the bathroom basin and washed hair at the kitchen sink. Duvet unseasonably heavy: fine if sleeping outside, but totally unsuitable!; bed far too tall; wardrobes: unless you are tall the hanging rail is too high; lack of plugs and wall sockets would not take adaptors: only the three socket extension for the TV and Internet would take new EU plugs; lack of kitchen utensils eg no colander just a small and large pan isn’t suitable; lack of cleaning materials: one sponge provided for whole flat; bathroom lighting v low - try making up in that; Rep said on What’s App she’d report things but nothing happened. Is that what the 10% service charge goes on! Her attitude to our problems was indifferent. Was told by her and agency that handyman had been to sort the shower: no sign of and presence as shower unmoved and soap suds undisturbed; v small outdoor space overlooked by upstairs and their bridge above; floors were cold and flat v cold when first there; the fridge/freezer door creaked as if it was dying.
