The property was beautiful and Sveva was a lovely host. We enjoyed the historical tour of the property and wine tasting. The apartment units allowed our large group to have private space, and we gathered together outside by the pool for lounging, swimming, and dining.

The castle is tucked right in the middle of the vineyards and looks exactly like the photos! Having breakfast in the castle hall has such a cool, old-school charm. The pool is incredible; we had a family photoshoot there! Plus, it’s just 15 minutes away from Siena...The Best of Mas team was super efficient, even though communication with the property owner wasn't exactly seamless.

Our stay was truly special! Staying at Sveva’s place feels like being transported back in time; they have taken such great care to keep the experience authentic. We absolutely loved our time there and looked forward to breakfast every morning—the food was incredibly fresh and high-quality, and Sveva’s muffins were a huge hit! The property tour was a highlight, and it was wonderful to learn what a true labor of love this estate is. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We didn’t have enough time to squeeze in the wine tour or dinner on-site, but that just gives us the perfect incentive to return. Highly recommended!"

Our stay at Sveva and Marco’s charming castle was truly special. We rented all the apartments for our large group, which made it perfect for a family gathering as everyone had their own space while still being able to spend time together. The castle is surrounded by vineyards and beautiful countryside, yet conveniently close to supermarkets and small villages for coffee and ice cream. Breakfast was delicious, and Sveva and Marco were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. Sveva’s fascinating tour of the castle was interesting and gave us an inspiring insight into the history of the estate and the care that goes into preserving it. Our only regret is that we didn’t have time for the wine tasting. We would happily return!

Mycket fridfullt och vackert ställe! Beskrivningen stämde exakt med verkligheten. Värdinnans rundvandring var en höjdpunkt och gav oss en stor respekt för slottet och dess omgivning. Poolen var ett välkomnande inslag efter dagsutflykterna, i ett underbart Toscana. Hela familjen trivdes (bra wifi) och vi kan varmt rekommendera detta boende till andra familjer med tonårsdotter.
