There is also a family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen/diner provides a sociable space for mealtimes, while the property benefits from two sitting rooms, one with a woodburning stove and the other with a gas fire, offering flexible areas to relax. Gas central heating is provided, alongside an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, with an external utility also available. Entertainment includes two Smart TVs, a DVD player and WiFi. Fuel and power are included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. A highchair and travel cot are available on request. Outside, there is off-road parking in a private driveway for 1 car, with additional communal parking for 2 cars, as well as bike storage. There are walks around the village and beyond, moving up the valley to some of the most beautiful views of the Derbyshire Dales. Crich, the home of the National Tramway Museum is 4 miles away, and Matlock, 8 miles away, offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions including Gulliver's Kingdom. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car that takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham - a great place for all the family with its show-caves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze.
