Magnifique maison calme au bord du lac .....

Notre maison du lac est sur la belle chaĂźne des lacs Minerva. Cette maison du lac entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e est une belle escapade Ă  seulement deux heures des villes jumelles. Nouvelle cuisine, salle de bain, moquette de niveau infĂ©rieur et toute nouvelle peinture intĂ©rieure en font une Ă©vasion idyllique. Avec des touches design, vous pouvez ralentir tout en profitant du luxe d'un mobilier et d'une literie confortables. SituĂ© sur 3,5 hectares, cette propriĂ©tĂ© offre beaucoup d'intimitĂ©. Le lac Minerve a un fond sablonneux et est clair. Notre ponton n'est pas disponible Ă  la location ou Ă  l'utilisation. Les locations de pontons locaux sont limitĂ©es, mais nous avons dĂ©jĂ  travaillĂ© avec Mary chez Boondocks Marine de Webster. Notez qu'il n'y a pas de marina ou d'atterrissage sur le lac Minerva (oĂč se trouve la cabine), mais il y a un bateau qui atterrit et relie la voie navigable du lac Falk / Love Lake qui vous ramĂšnera au lac Minerva. L'espace pour accoster le bateau est Ă©galement limitĂ©, donc nous n'encourageons pas Ă  amener un bateau. Nous avons reçu des commentaires de nos clients qui ont apprĂ©ciĂ© explorer le lac sur les kayaks et les planches Ă  pagaie que nous fournissons.

Il y a de magnifiques routes rustiques pavées qui sont idéales pour le vélo et la marche. Forts Folle est à 10 minutes en voiture. Il y a des magasins d'antiquités amusants à Danbury, Webster et Siren.

Wonderful cabin and view of the lake!

My family had an absolutely wonderful stay in this adorable, cozy cabin! Plenty of space, easy access to the lake, and breathtaking views (especially at sunrise/sunset!) Would definitely visit this property again. Perfect for our family of 5 on our first solo family vacay!

This cabin is well kept! The beds and bedding provided for a great nights sleep! We also loved the privacy and beauty of the woods. This chain of lakes is great for many kayaking options as well!

Perfect Spot

Easy to find and not too far from the twin cities. My family had a great time here including a 4 year old and 1 year old. The beach was great and the cabin had everything you need. 5 minute drive to Danbury if you need to run to the store. We will be back!

Cozy, private, updated cabin

This cabin was great and we'd love to return. It's a cabin that is clean, has pretty much everything you need for a family (three rooms, many beds, linens, kitchen appliances, dishwasher, fire pit, sandy clean lake, and more. With two 2.5 y/o and a 7 month old, we were able to relax and enjoy. Thanks for a great vacation with friends!

Very nice cabin in a beautiful area

We stayed several nights here. The cabin was clean and is quite nice. The listing accurately showed what was at the property. The lake was great, with very clear water. There are many (mostly small) bluegills that are easily fished from the pier, which was great for the kids. The sandy frontage was great for swimming as well.

Wooded Wonder

We enjoyed our restful, relaxing stay. The cabin was beautifully decorated and spacious. The deck has a view of the lake- through the pine trees. The kitchen is fully stocked. The best part is the lake. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, floating, watching the loons and sitting on the dock. The trees are also perfect for hammocks! Thanks for this memorable escape to the lake!

Our Annual Getaway Spot

This is our third year coming here to visit family. The cabin is always immaculate and the owners are excellent communicators. This year we had three generations ranging from 20-76 years old. Kayaking in the morning as I listen to the loons is my favorite alone time followed by a fire, storytelling, and boad games at night.

Family Getaway with Adult children

We stayed here with a full house of adults and had a terrific time. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I was concerned about one bathroom as I have all daughters but we managed fine. Loved all the large table spaces for family dinners and card/board games. The lake is very quiet and peaceful during the week. The owners responded quickly and were very helpful.

We had a great time! I kept waiting for the von Trapps to step out and sing Edelweiss!

Very charming home. It is clean and well maintained. We had a great time and there were enough activities to keep our four boys busy our entire stay. Only draw back was no air conditioning, but they had enough fans to keep air moving and it cooled off nicely at night to get a good nights sleep. We would come back again.

The Perfect Lake Escape

We absolutely loved our time here. The home has been meticulously and stylishly updated and everything you needed was available, including beach towels aplenty, mosquito spray, sunscreen, extra bedding, tons of pillows, and a vintage PacMan machine. Having access to paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, fishing poles, life vests of all sizes, etc. really made our stay extra special. Lake access really was as advertised, with clear sandy beach right off the shore. We will absolutely be back!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful lakeside cabin!

As advertised! The cabin itself was very beautiful and exceptionally clean. We absolutely loved the decor! The property was well maintained, too. The lake was amazing for swimming and kayaking with a nice sandy bottom. Everything seemed brand new including the kayaks, which were a great source of fun. Owners were amazing to work with and quick with responses. Everything was just what we were looking for in a vacation. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Thanks again Fritz and Brenda!

Fourth Year for Family Vacation

We started coming to this cabin because it was the only place we found to stay near my aunt and uncle after he became too ill to travel. He passed away in October and this year we came to help my aunt with her move but extended our stay for a couple of days relaxing at the lake. It's truly become a home away from home and allowed us to make some great family memories. The lake water is still pretty cold in June so if your balance is rocky on the SUP be prepared. Weather was gorgeous for kayaking and fishing.

Wonderful getaway in beautiful setting

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was an easy drive from Minneapolis, a quiet sandy lake, and the cabin itself is gorgeous. Our family enjoyed swimming by the dock and off the swimming/diving platform, bonfires in the bonfire pit, playing with all the toys and games there, canoeing around the lake, grilling on the deck. The beds and bedding were superb, the kitchen was outfitted wonderfully, it was nice to be able to throw in a load of laundry once. Fritz was very accommodating of our check-in/check-out time requests and very responsive to our one question once we arrived at the cabin. We would definitely return!

Just as described

We've rented a few cottages over the last few years and they all say you can swim in their pond/lake. That's never been the case until this time! Fritz and Brenda are as accurate as can be. Great swimming and fishing right off the dock. We hope to come back again in the future.

Another Great Stay

My husband, two young sons, and I, stayed here for the second time in mid October and had another wonderful experience! There was a problem with the boiler, but Fritz was easy to communicate with and had a contractor out to look at it and fix it quickly. We enjoyed lots of fires in the outdoor fire pit and in the living room fireplace/wood burning stove, canoeing the lake, a walk to the nearby dam, lots of cooking in their well-equipped kitchen, and playing outside and inside with the toys/games they have there. A very relaxing MEA weekend!

Perfect for big family

This property was wonderful - we had 6 teens and it was nice that they had a bit of a separate space. The lake was perfect. We have been renting cottages for 9 years and this may be our favorite - it was a nice balance between to tiny cramped and mildew smelling type with furniture from the 70's and the over the top, too many bells and whistles (I do not need in home theater to be happy). To boot it was comfortable, clean and a lot of thought went into the lovely ambiance - which for me was very enjoyable.. Thank you!!

Beautiful Home, Great Location, Perfect Getaway

I rented this cabin with 5 girlfriends. There was plenty of room for all of us. We cooked, we swam, we used the paddle boards, we enjoyed evenings on the deck and had a lovely relaxing stay. There is tubing in Danbury which was so fun. The river is sandy and clear and very nice. The house had everything we needed. We grilled dinners, used the skillet for breakfast and spent hours laughing in the deck. It was quiet and relaxing, exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for opening up your house to us.

Beautiful cabin and location!

The cabin is exactly like it is described and shown in the photos. Our daughters loved hanging out in the lake, swimming and using the paddle boards that are included. There is a nice sandy shallow area when you first get in. The cabin is spacious and has everything you need. One upgrade not shown in the photos is a smart tv in the basement. We don’t watch much tv but it was nice to be able to turn on a show or movie before we went to bed. The beds are decent, and the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas are very nice. Good communication with the owners. It was a great place to spend a week!

Quiet perfection

From the moment we pulled up, it was perfect. The location makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. But the reality is you are only five minutes drive to grocery store or a few bars. The place is stocked with everything you need for fun, inside or outside. Paddle boards, canoe, games, books, every kitchen utensil you need for a feast. Endless places to read, inside and out. Beach towels, soft bedding and the best up north cabin style. Easiest checkout. Great communication. Everything was top notch.

Lovely lakeside cabin

My husband and I were looking for a cabin getaway with our young (toddler) daughter, and we couldn't have been happier with this place! The interior is beautiful, cozy, and very thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked, with all the tools you need for meals. We loved grilling and sitting on their deck overlooking the lake. They had tons of games and activities for young and old, and we enjoyed using the paddle boards and hammocks. They have a nice little area by the lake with a picnic table and a detached, floating dock which was perfect for soaking in the sun. It was pretty warm when we were there and I was a little worried about the lack of air conditioning, but they have a ton of fans which kept the air moving. We will be back!

When traveling they often stay in VRBO homes and are now excited to offer their lovely cabin for others to enjoy. Fritz has build a wonderful reputation as a Senior Project Manager in the high end custom home sector while Brenda owns 3 interior design showrooms in Minneapolis. Together they combined their passions when renovating their dream cabin.

This property appealed to them for the following reasons, quiet yet interesting chain of lakes, located on a 3.2 acres rolling wooded lot providing lots of privacy, sandy bottom lake, and within a two hour drive from their home in Minneapolis.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The cabin is equally fun in the winter as it is in the summer. In the summer the lake is a great swimming lake and great care is taken to keep the shore weed free. It is a great lake for swimming and fishing. In the winter, cozy fires and hot cocoa after a long day of snowshoeing and skating are enjoyed.
