Forest retreat in East Frisia

In Friedeburg in East Frisia, a unique retreat awaits you in a forest location with its own lake. Half an hour from the North Sea coast and 45 minutes from Oldenburg, the former forester's lodge welcomes you with six individually designed apartments covering almost 600 square meters.



Built in 1872 and restored in 2020/21, the house with its beautiful red brickwork and white lattice windows offers space for two to seven people in each apartment. One of them is accessible via a separate entrance. The other five apartments are located in the former barn. The house also has a utility room with washing machines and dryers, board games, and even its own SUP.



As soon as you enter the apartments, you will feel at home thanks to the unique design and high-quality furnishings. Nature is omnipresent in all accommodations thanks to soft colors, natural materials, and carefully selected decorative elements.



Equipped with high-quality furniture such as box-spring beds, spacious seating areas, elegant kitchens, and bathrooms, everyone will find their own personal retreat. Some of the apartments have a gas fireplace where you can curl up with a good book or a cup of tea.



Each of the apartments, whether on the ground floor, under the roof, or in a maisonette style, has a balcony or terrace. In addition to your own small outdoor area, you can spend your days together at the lake with its small sandy beach or breathe in nature on a walk through the neighboring Karl-Georg Forest.
