Unique treetop cabin in forest, Lårdal

Stay close to nature and the abundant wildlife in this unique treetop cabin in Lårdal. The cabin is attached to spruce trees that stand on a slope towards the river Lårdalsåi, and you can really find peace and quiet here. The footbridge takes you to the front door, and lots of charming solutions await you when you enter the cabin.



Inside the cabin, there are several handmade and customized solutions, such as the stylish table in the living room and the bed horses in the loft. Even though the cabin is small, the solutions are so well thought out that it's hardly noticeable. Light some candles and settle down on the sofa in the loft with a good book and a hot drink, while listening to the sounds of the river and birdsong. Those sleeping in the loft can look up at the tall treetops through the skylights and watch the leaves rustle and squirrels play in the trees.



A 7-minute walk from the cabin, you can pick fresh vegetables at the hosts' farm, which you can bring back to the cabin to make a delicious meal. The meal can be enjoyed outdoors alongside the wildlife for a truly unique experience. Follow the path along the river where you'll come to a small waterfall with a bathing pool and fantastic views. Explore the surrounding area on foot, head into the center of Lårdal, or take a boat trip in the Telemark Canal where you can fish, water ski or go on excursions.
