Inside, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, with large windows that let in plenty of light and offer fantastic views of the mountains and the surrounding landscape. The cabin is modern and well-equipped with everything you need for a carefree stay. The only things you need to bring yourself are towels and bed linen.



You can drive right up to the cabin all year round, making arrival and departure easy and convenient. Hiking and skiing opportunities start right outside the door, and here you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature up close – whether you're sitting with your morning coffee or ending the day in front of the fireplace.



Maurset is located in the middle of Hardangervidda's scenic landscape with marked trails, mountain lakes, and expansive viewpoints in the summer. In winter, the area is transformed into a snow-sure paradise with groomed cross-country trails. Maurset Landhandel is a few minutes away, and Vøringsfossen – one of Norway's most iconic waterfalls – is just a short drive from the cabin.
