Cottage charm near Svebølle amidst fields

A few kilometers outside Svebølle in northwest Zealand, the beautiful farmhouse, Mosehuset, stands out in the hilly landscape with its fine thatched roof and whitewashed walls. Here, among the fields and wild nature, there is space for the extended family to find a secluded peace without close neighbors and at the same time fully immerse themselves in the romantic farm atmosphere.





The cottage, which dates back to 1827, has been beautifully restored and exudes farmhouse style with a fresh twist. The decor is a nice mix of retro furniture, more modern flea market finds, kilim rugs and cushions. In the large living room, the exposed beams in the ceiling bring a rustic feel to the room, while the natural colored floor adds a special warmth. Relax on the large, open landing on the second floor or light the wood-burning stove and enjoy a quiet moment in the nostalgic armchair.





The 5,000 m2 grounds offer plenty of wild nature and many exciting corners to explore. In summer, it's filled with fruit, figs and berries, while the horses roam the garden at times. If you want to get creative, there's plenty of space in the workshop to make small projects with the kids. Let the family and their four-legged friends explore the open spaces, or get out the metal detector and hunt for hidden treasures.
