Welcome to Shelley Point in St Helena Bay, situated along the West
Coast of Cape Town, South Africa and home to this stunning four-bedroom
home. The Lazy Olive offers a beautifully curated blend of relaxed
elegance and modern comfort designed for effortless living, where
natural textures and warm tones create a serene, welcoming atmosphere
throughout.

Step inside to a spacious open-plan living area where warm, natural
finishes and exposed wooden beams create an inviting atmosphere. At the
heart of the home lies a fully equipped kitchen featuring an air fryer,
Nespresso coffee machine and a generous centre island with seating
that’s ideal for casual meals or gatherings with friends. Adjacent to
the main kitchen, a sunny breakfast nook provides a cosy spot to start
the day. The scullery doubles as a laundry area, where the washing
machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher are located.

The scullery leads into a games room that boasts a flatscreen TV with a
Wii, a pool table, board games that are accompanied by a game table, a
dartboard, and a comfortable sofa, making it an excellent entertainment
space for the whole family.

The kitchen seamlessly flows into the dining and lounge areas. The
lounge boasts an indoor fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and comfortable
plush sofas. The dining area has an indoor braai located next to a
comfy daybed that’s perfect for relaxation, a mini boutique bar and
counter, with a dining table that can seat up to ten people.
Additionally, the dining area opens to both the front stoep and back
pool area, allowing for instant access to the outdoors. Large
triple-stack sliding doors invite natural light to pour into the space,
further enhancing the home’s relaxed coastal feel.

All bedrooms are fitted with Granny Goose, natural linen bedding, and
down feather inners, prioritising guest comfort. The main bedroom
features a king-size bed, TV, full-length mirror, and a vanity area
that’s equipped with a hair dryer. The room has a spacious en-suite
bathroom designed as a wet-room, consisting of a double basin, shower,
bath, and ample storage space. The second bedroom offers a queen-size
bed and also includes a full-length mirror, a TV, and its own en-suite
bathroom fitted with a shower, a single basin, and a toilet. Both these
bedrooms open up into the garden, allowing for easy outdoor access.

The third and fourth bedrooms share a well-appointed main bathroom
complete with a shower, bath, and basin. These family rooms include a
double bed and two single beds, with the two single beds cleverly
separated from the double bed by white shutters for added privacy,
making it ideal for families or guests travelling together while still
enjoying their own space. The property also features a quaint guest
toilet for added convenience. Fresh bath and beach towels, as well as
crisp linen, are all provided throughout your stay.

Stepping outdoors, guests will appreciate a beautifully landscaped
garden and curated entertainment area featuring an outdoor kitchen/bar,
sun loungers, comfortable undercover seating, including a gas braai and
a wood-fired pizza oven. Unwind in the hot tub or cool off in the
swimming pool on warm summer days. Around the front, guests will find a
sunny front stoep that’s perfect for an early-morning coffee or an
evening sundowner listening to the much-loved Shelly Point resident
birds.

The home is ideally located just a short walk from the Golden Mile
Boulevard, which runs through the heart of the Shelley Point Golf
Estate on the West Coast. Golden Mile Boulevard is a scenic coastal
road renowned for its unspoiled beaches, whale and dolphin sightings,
and spectacular ocean sunsets. The golf club offers a 9-hole
links-style golf course, spa facilities, and a restaurant, all within
easy reach for guests to enjoy during their stay.

Guests are approximately a 5-minute walk from pristine beaches in
either direction, offering effortless access to the coastline from both
sides, making it perfect for beach lovers and families alike.

Just a short drive away, St Helena Bay provides local shops,
restaurants, and authentic West Coast fishing culture. Guests are sure
to appreciate conveniences such as the De Agterbaaier Superette, a Spar
Grocery and Bottle Store, as well as a pharmacy. All the while, Shelley
Point itself remains a tranquil, private, resort-style destination
surrounded by ocean and natural coastal beauty.

In St Helena Bay, guests have a wide variety of attractions and
activities to choose from. Nature and outdoor lovers are sure to enjoy
whale and dolphin spotting, birdwatching, long walks on the beach,
fishing, and water sports. Those who are seeking a more relaxing
experience can visit the Shelley Point Peninsula, the Cape Columbine
Lighthouse, explore local dining options, or attend fascinating
regional tours. Those who want to do some further exploring will be
pleased to know that iconic coastal towns Paternoster and Stompneusbaai
are situated just a short drive away.

The Lazy Olive is more than just a home; it’s a serene escape where
style, comfort, and leisure come together in perfect harmony. Designed
with comfort and convenience in mind, this home offers the perfect
setting for family holidays or laid-back entertainment by the sea.

In line with body corporate regulations, all local and international guests must be registered prior to arrival. To confirm your booking, guest verification is mandatory. Guests are required to provide full names, contact details, clear copies of ID or passports, vehicle registration (if applicable), and estimated arrival time. This information is used solely for security clearance purposes and will remain strictly confidential. Please note that failure to submit these details timeously may result in delayed or denied check-in.
All our properties are strictly non-smoking, and tenants accept full liability for all minors and visitors. Pets, parties, and events are not permitted.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a complimentary mid-stay clean, including fresh linen, will be provided. Additional cleaning services can be arranged upon request with a minimum of 24 hours' notice and will incur an extra charge.
A refundable key and breakage deposit is payable prior to check-in, with the amount determined by the quality of the establishment and applied at the discretion of the owner or management.
Please be advised that, to promote a sustainable and comfortable experience for all our guests, electricity usage is governed by a fair use policy that permits a reasonable amount of daily consumption. In the rare event of unusually high usage, a reimbursement may be requested.
A late check-in fee of R250 applies for arrivals between 21:00 and 00:00, payable in cash directly to the property host upon arrival. For arrivals after 00:00, a fee of R350 will apply.

The Property Manager will arrange a check-in time with guests to meet at the property, which is situated at 14 1st Ave, Shelley Point, St Helena Bay, 7282.

The Property Manager will hand the keys to the guest and share with them knowledge about the apartment and surroundings including the house rules.
