Resting in the small village of Tollerton, this charming cottage, situated on a working farm is surrounded by a huge expanse of countryside walks and miles of country lanes should you want to explore by bike. It is situated near the Howardian Hills and North York Moors. Within the village is a well-stocked shop for picking up any essentials and a village pub. Nearby is Easingwold (4 miles), a food lovers' paradise with cosy pubs, charming cafes and tearooms. And a stay here wouldn't be complete without a visit to York (10 miles), where you can meander around York Minster and the city walls, and browse the cobbled lanes lined with unique shops. The market town of Knaresborough with lovely river walks and the famous Mother Shipton's Cave is under 20 miles away and spa town Harrogate (21 miles) is also well worth exploring with its great eateries and cafes, as well as the attractions of the Royal Pump Room and the Valley Gardens.
Step inside this stone cottage, hang your coat in the entrance vestibule and make yourself at home. The spacious lounge boasts large comfortable sofas for you to relax on after a long day walking - stoke the fire and nestle in for the night around the 65" Smart TV or make use of the Bluetooth speaker for some music. The snug room next door is an ideal place for the children to sit and relax whilst watching the Smart TV. Prepare a family feast in the fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and coffee machine, then gather around the dining table in the dining room and plan your next outing. There is a useful downstairs WC and utility room with a under counter freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer for those holiday practicalities. When night falls, head upstairs to bed. There is a large super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC, and plenty of built-in storage for your clothes. The other two bedrooms are king-size, one is a zip-and-link (can be twin upon request).
Slide open the patio doors and walk across the driveway to the large garden area where you dine or relax on the garden furniture or in the hot tub. There is a secure, lockable storage shed for bicycles, and there is off-road parking for two cars.
