À propos de cet hébergement
3 Bed in Bala (oc-91365)
Set in an elevated position, this cottage commands breathtaking countryside towards Bala and its lake. Explore Southern Snowdonia with footpaths and cycle routes direct from the property. Bala boasts cafes, pubs, shops, a swimming pool and Wales’s largest natural lake. Enjoy sailing, a stroll around the lake or a ride on the steam railway. Pop to the National White Water Centre (5 miles), Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog (24 miles) and the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin (25 miles). Just relax or take an active holiday at this all-year-round destination.
Head up the steep sweeping drive and walk around to the back door where there’s plenty of space for your outdoor attire in the utility room as well as a washing machine and a second fridge. There is a stylish bathroom here too for leisurely starts to the day. Continue through to the lounge, perfect for relaxing in after a full day out; there are comfortable sofas, a wood burner and a Smart TV. Walk through the cosy snug and into the spacious kitchen/diner where there’s a second wood burner. This is a lovely bright space to rustle up a meal with your local produce purchases from your travels. The dining table takes centre stage for everyone to gather around and enjoy a meal together. After dinner, relax in the lounge or the games room with its football table, sofa and Smart TV. When ready for bed, choose one of the two staircases from either the games room or the lounge. All the bedrooms are on the first floor and have fabulous views to wake up to. There are two king-size rooms and a twin. Also on this floor is the stylish shower room, perfect for enjoying a refreshing start to the day. Lastly, there is a landing library for quiet times with a book.
Outside, you can relax in the enclosed garden, enjoy a morning coffee at the table and chairs, maybe light the charcoal BBQ, and make the most of the weather on the sun loungers. Embrace the views from sunrise to sunset and watch the wildlife from this elevated position.
