Le lac Pickerel offre d'excellentes possibilités de pêche, de natation et de navigation de plaisance. L’achigan, le musqué, le nord, le doré et une abondance de pan-fish sont bien stockés dans le lac Pickerel.

Un acompte de 25% est requis pour confirmer votre réservation hebdomadaire et un acompte d'une nuit confirmera votre réservation nocturne. Fishing trip

The property was great and very clean. We loved getting out of the car and seeing a huge pile of wood that was provided for us. The fishing was excellent. Overall awesome experience

The cabin is on nice gradual slop to lake, there is a sandy bottom section that small kids and dogs can go into, lake it quiet and the boat launch is a block away. Plenty of wildlife deer, fox, eagles, cranes, and birds to view. We ate, read, played games, and relaxed on the wrap around deck and screened in porch. It was a beautiful cabin minus the main shower - everything was great and in working clean order. we would book again if the shower which works, but needs updating, is fixed up.

Great Location!

Location location location is the highlight of this property. I would definitely book again! A couple of the internal pieces of the cabin are bit older, but that shouldn't matter because you should be outside the whole time anyway!

A well-maintained cabin that offers the best of two worlds; Peace, quiet and plenty of space on one hand, and connectivity to technology and person to person games on the other. The only one thing that confused us was at the end of the trip. After cleaning up, we could not find the garbage bin in the garage. We only found two recycling bins.

The mattresses are very worn down and you can feel the springs as you lay down. However the view is beautiful from the balcony and the location of the house is very private. Very large lot.. great for kids and dogs.

Hiller Vacation is Wonderful

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is a "bit tired". Mattresses are very thin, lighting is poor and the frig needs to be retired. Now onto the good... the location is beautiful, the house is nicely laid out for families with pets. Deers are running through the front lawn, the pier is perfect for fishing... rent a boat from Hiller. The frig did not work properly so, we called Hiller they were there within the hour with bags of ice and coolers. The next day a frig repairman was there. He told us that the older frig allows for you to keep one compartment cool (i.e. frig or freezer). We purchased a small thermometer to gauge the temp at it was at 45 degrees. 40 is the standard. We went into the Hiller office to thank them for being so good. They allowed us to look at another property for next year and we booked it on the spot. If this property takes care of a few things i.e. new mattresses, new frig, better lighting it would be a 4 start for the money. Look at other properties that Hiller has to offer you can't go wrong. Great Thanksgiving Getaway

Only negatives were that it would be helpful to have TV information available so you don't need to call the office. Also, there was a lot of dirt/dust in the upstairs bedroom behind the couch which we found when looking for light switches. Also, we are senior citizens and were not delighted to have to shovel the steps and deck to get into the cabin. It was super slick and there should have been ice pellet and snow should have been taken care of for us.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The waterfront is awesome! The cabin not so much. Every bed in the cabin was horrible. The mattresses are each about an inch thick with no boxspring under, just springs. Awful smell going down the stairs into basement. Then on the outside when you wanted to enjoy the beautiful view. There is an awful smell of sewage from the holding tank right in the middle of the yard. This was very disappointing. Called office 2 guys came out and said they smelled it and left. Didn’t do anything about it. Nice....Stopped in the office to have trash picked up on Monday. Didn’t come until Thursday. Very disappointed in spending 3000 for this.

Pinewood Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place for our family. The house is great and location is perfect. It is a private and beautifully wooded lot. I would recommend investing in new mattresses for a few of the beds. Not good. The house is great for kids as well as adults. We enjoyed the fire pit being far enough away from the house so no smoke came through the windows/doors. The added dock was also fun for fishing without trips to the ER for hook removal! I would rent again. Hiller made the process very easy.

Pinewood, Pickerel Lake - Won't Be Back

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Pinewood on Pickerel Lake for a week. The wooded setting is very nice, private and the view of the lake is beautiful. However, we would not rent this house again. Our biggest issues were the lack of adequate indoor lighting and the poor water quality of Pickerel Lake which prevented us from swimming. The house furnishings and kitchen supplies are basic and worn. The lake was ok for kayaking and fishing. It’s very shallow and the water was murky even at shallow depths. The lake surface was covered in algae (pond scum). In the future, I would check the Wisconsin DNR website for lake quality info before renting in this area.There are no overhead lights in the living areas and the small lamps in the main living area are too dim for reading. Lighting in both baths is dim. The large upstairs bedroom faces the driveway & house entry path and has no privacy shades or drapes. The rugs, bedspreads and other areas needed a good cleaning. The basement level smelled damp even with a constantly running dehumidifier (which filled up twice a day.) There were numerous small maintenance issues. The house had a window a/c unit in the living room which we didn’t use. There was unsecured wifi but it didn’t work very well so don’t count on it. Cell phone service was fine.Hiller’s (the rental management company) provided us with pontoon boat and kayak rentals both of which were handled very professionally and were at the dock when we arrived. The pontoon boat was brand new.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Uncomfortable mattresses in master and twin room, especially for 2 weeks. No comfortable seating anywhere: sofa and loveseat are old and everyone “sinks” down no matter one’s weight. Need cushions on all the hard wood seating.Deck was cob web dirty, not swept.The 15 steps are laborious for older people to haul luggage, etc. Perhaps that info could be included in description. Good scenic view. Kitchen well appointed.

Great location With Beautiful Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd time staying at this location. The location is very private and beautiful. Our kids love swimming by the dock and fishing, and it's great that the boat landing is so close by. The only downfall to the place is there is only a window a/c, so for the really hot days, the house gets pretty hot. It would also be nice if the owners could get some new pots and pans. We cooked all of our meals here for the week, and the pots and pans are in tough condition. Overall, this place is great!
