WONDERFUL! Centrally located, clean, comfy, cute, well-stocked!

The owner was wonderful to work with. He was super responsive to emails and texts and extended his help with anything we might need during our stay. He proactively offered us a late check out. Thank you! The house sits in a more industrial/business area, however, don't let that deter you from renting here. The house was 5 minutes from the airport and from the KY Expo Center, and about 10 minutes to downtown Louisville. It was quiet and safe. The house is CUTE! They added so many nice touches to the renovation, and personal touches to welcome their guests (like having music playing upon arrival, a welcome basket with snacks and lots of K-cups for the Keurig, and a bathroom basket with some essential toiletries if anyone needed a toothbrush, etc. and even a white noise machine if you'd like to fall asleep to a thunderstorm or birds chirping) Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. Oh, and the beds ... we LOVED the beds. The owner shared the mattress information with us so we could get one of our own for home. They had a queen air mattress available at this home which was a welcome surprise. I have rented numerous times with VRBO, but this has been one of my favorite places and most helpful owners. If you are considering staying in Louisville, forget the hotels. Rent this home for less, spread out, relax, and enjoy everything that the area has to offer. They also have a larger 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home that sleeps 10 nearby so be sure to ask him about that if you need a bit more space. We will definitely be returning someday to stay here and hit the Bourbon trail! Thanks, John for all of your help and hospitality :)

Spotless with everything you need!

We enjoyed staying in this sparkling clean updated older home. Beds were comfy, appreciated amenities like shampoo and snacks that were included, great communication from host. Location is great for convenience—very close to 264, easy drive to airport. If you are looking for a neighborhood feel, this is not it, it’s in more of a business park, but that didn’t bother us. Would rent again!

Wonderful Stay on Bourbon Trial

Our group of six adults stayed for a Bourbon Trail weekend. The house was immaculate and well appointed with everything we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or send friends!

Lovely little home

House was darling. Very close to the airport and easy access. Check-in was easy and smooth. Our family enjoyed our stay and will come back if/when we have an opportunity. The owners were super easy to contact and communicated with us regularly. Great option for medium sized groups up to 10 people.

The house was nicely equipped, very clean, and modernized. The neighborhood is industrial/commercial but at least there are no nosy neighbors. We would stay there again.

Great Stay!

I can see why this house has the most 5 star reviews! It is excellent! The home is in a very quiet area, very clean, and offers anything you may need during your stay. The location is near everything and very easy to find. John, the host, was very attentive to responses as well as ensuring that the stay was excellent. I have no complaints or suggestions. It was perfect and I would definitely visit again!

Sweet Retreat

This was a great little house, perfect for a weekend getaway. The hosts were very accommodating. The bed sheets were so soft!! The electronic lock was a little tricky - it took several tries but worked with the updated info hosts sent. Would definitely recommend this property.

Ideal Louisville Location

Perfect location for a quick three day layover in Louisville. House was very clean with everything we needed for our stay. Very convenient location for the Kentucky Expo Center and the airport. Easy highway access for Churchill Downs and downtown Louisville. John was a great host, and his recommendations for entertainment and restaurants were spot on. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the Louisville area.

What a wonderful place

This house is a very nicely updated place in a great location. Close to activities around the fair grounds and Churchill Downs, but also minutes away from Downtown. The house is well stocked with all you would need and very clean. Comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Tastefully appointed, immaculately clean, and owner ensured we had a great stay!

This home had all of the comforts of our own home: games, comfortable beds and gathering areas, a fully stocked kitchen, ample bath linens, side door parking, and great location near the events center and airport! John even left two coolers with ice near the door, as we had groceries delivered just before our arrival. His responsiveness and hospitality made the stay a success, and now we want to come back and stay there for the derby someday. Thanks for your hospitality and for sharing your great home with us, John! It couldn’t have been better!
