"Nut House II" est une cabine de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bains pour 8 personnes. C'est une cabine à 2 niveaux qui est juste assez isolée pour que vous vous sentiez intime sur 4 acres de terrain.

Lorsque vous entrez dans la cabine au niveau principal, vous trouverez un plan d'étage ouvert avec le salon et la salle à manger se prolongeant l'un dans l'autre. La salle à manger peut accueillir 4 personnes confortablement ou vous pouvez vous détendre dans le salon avec une grande télévision à écran plat et un foyer au gaz pendant les nuits d'hiver tout en vous relaxant sur le nouveau canapé-lit. Hors de la cuisine, il y a une véranda qui offre un fauteuil à bascule et un planeur avec une vue imprenable sur les environs.

La suite principale a un lit Aspen Log Queen qui complète parfaitement cette chambre avec une salle de bain privée complète qui comprend une baignoire jacuzzi, une douche à l'italienne et un double lavabo qui complète la chambre. De la suite principale, vous avez accès à un porche grillagé parfait pour se détendre avec cette première tasse de café le matin ou profiter des sons de la nature. La deuxième chambre Queen Size est au bout du couloir. La salle de bain complète principale et une grande buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse sont au niveau principal pour votre commodité.

Le niveau inférieur dispose d'une salle de jeux spacieuse, ensoleillée et meublée pour un confort maximum. Il offre beaucoup d'espace pour que chacun puisse s'étendre et se détendre devant la grande télévision à écran plat avec un dormeur futon et une table de billard. Ou vous pouvez profiter de la balançoire du porche pendant ces nuits d'été en écoutant les sons de la rivière qui se précipite à proximité ou les grillons dans les bois.

Si vous êtes à la recherche d'un chalet de montagne avec un cadre magnifique, proche de toutes les attractions, mais suffisamment loin de l'agitation de la vie quotidienne, ne cherchez pas plus loin que "Nut House II". The location of the cabin was amazing. The cabin was very nice. The only thing I would suggest to the property managers is figure out how to turn the chime off. That got annoying every time a door would open we’d hear a chime.

The Ricks/Motz Nuts stay in Nut House II

After having such a terrible 2024, our families decided to go away for Thanksgiving. In the family was my husband, son, daughter-in-law and our daughter-in-law’s parents. We loved the cabin even though the living room furniture was not very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with enough items for us.to cook the food we wanted to cook. We loved the view! We will definitely try to stay again.

Weekend Getaway

Property was secluded even with other cabins nearby. Everything was as described. Only negative was there were some empty cans and bottles left in the bottom of the outside trash can and the can was tipped over just after going to bed the first night. Easy to pick up and put the trash can back upright. Just a bit of a scare first night in the mountains!

Last minute vacation

It was hard to find a cabin so last minute close to the Great Smokey Mountains. But we found the Nut House II. We were happy with our stay it was a beautiful cabin very clean and affordable and the staff was helpful. We were disappointed that there wasn't tvs in the bedrooms. And the wifi was a lil weak but we were in the woods and thats to be expected. Overall we had a great time. Thank you!!

Great spot for low stress TN vacation

Easy to access, very quiet area… but still close enough to everything in the area. Very clean and spacious. No complaints!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time visiting the pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area! The cabin was great and was perfect for our family of five. My children loved the backyard especially and I enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub after a long day of hiking:) overall we had a wonderful time!

Cabin is fine- Rental Company Awful

This cabin was absolutely filthy so I will start this review with my smaller complaints. You could see the dust, dirt, pet hair, dead bugs, and more on almost every surface of the home. The carpets were all horribly stained and smelly. The bathroom towels and wash cloths smelled of sweat. The dishes on the cabinet were covered in some sort of weird sticky mess. The walls were filthy and had holes in them.There was a urine stain on a pillow on the couch. There were several bugs that showed up during our stay which were not listed on the "bug guide" on the fridge. The guide itself leads me to believe that there is no pest control other than the rat poison in the downstairs closet. The poison obviously was not helping as there were rodent feces down there. The downstairs was also infested with some small worms, not on the list, that covered the floor. The rug in the living room absolutely reeked of urine and that is an understatement. When I spoke with the office, the young lady I spoke with seemed more annoyed at my issue than concerned. I noticed this rug was mentioned in the guestbook and that they, too, had notified the office. Their guest book entry documented that they were told by Bear Camp Rentals that the rug would be gone, however it is still in the home. This rug is a major issue. Every other company I've stayed with in the area has been more than concerned when they heard I've had any sort of issue, and I have been vacationing here at least twice a year my entire life. The Nut House II could be a great weekend getaway with a deep clean and the living room rug removed. The furniture is all beautiful and the layout is cozy. I do question Bear Camp Rentals, though, if the state of this cabin is found to be acceptable. It is more than apparent that the customers comfort and satisfaction is not a concern. All of our complaints are an easy fix (cleanliness, pest control, rug removal), but the blatant disregard for serious complains such as a disgusting urine filled rug is the reason we will never use Bear Camp Rentals again. Finally, the office closes at 9pm. We were called two times in less than ten minutes asking for an ETA over an hour before they were set to closed rushing us to check-in. We rushed over to the office to check-in before making any stops believing that paying customers would have the courtesy of using a restroom after traveling for several hours. A pregnant woman was refused the restroom and told to walk down thestreet.

Thank you for staying with us at Bear Camp Realty & Cabin Rentals. We are very sorry to hear that your stay was not the stellar experience that we wish for all of our guests. As discussed in your previous correspondence with our office after you checked out, any of the issues that you mentioned here could have been rectified had you alerted us to the issues that you experienced during your stay. In our courtesy call made to you the day after you checked in, you reported that there were no issues and that you were happy with your cabin. As per our correspondence after you checked out, all cleaning issues have been rectified. We do have monthly pest control with Arrow and all cabins that have been serviced for any reason outside of the monthly service are on file here in the office. The guide that is in all of our cabins is there not because we don't have pest control, but to make our out of town guests aware of the different types of insects they may see in the mountains. Guest comfort and satisfaction is our main concern here at Bear Camp Cabins and had you told us about the issues that you experienced we would have been happy to rectify the issues, but since we were not alerted to any issues we did not have the chance to do anything about it. Finally, the calls that were made to you asking about your ETA were in no way rushing you to get here. We have late arrival procedures in place for our guests that arrive after the office closes. We do call guests, starting about an hour before closing, to determine arrival time so that we can send them the email with the late arrival procedures. Sometimes, depending on the guests email service, these emails do not get directly to the guest in a timely manner, so we call in enough time to resend it or to obtain a different email address so that we can make sure that the guest receives it. The sign on both of our front doors does state that we do not have a public restroom. We have never told any pregnant women to "walk down the street" but we do reiterate what the signs on the doors say and give locations of the nearest public restrooms. We are sorry to hear that you will not be staying with us again.

Beautiful setting

We were disappointment that we had to wait an additional two hours to check in with no compensation due to excess mess from previous tenants. Since no compensation could be given to us, it would have been nice if they had been more flexible with check out. When we arrived the first impression was the front porch that was dirty and should have been washed/hosed down and the carpet is stained and needs a deep cleaning. The dinning area only had four chairs and we felt it should of had six since the house sleeps six people. We had five people in our group so one person had to stand or sit in another room to eat. Water is not visible from the cabin but had a good view of the forest.

Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your review and suggestions. The cabin description states that the dining table only seats 4 people. Our check in time does begin at 3:00 pm daily, but our rental agreement, which is signed by every reservation holder stating that they have read and agree to it before arriving, states "Check in begins at 3:00 PM EST. Please refrain from trying to check in before 3:00 PM EST. We make every effort to have rentals ready at 3:00 PM EST. Do understand delays may happen; no refunds will be given for these delays." We do apologize for the delay in checking you in. Unfortunately this sometimes does happen.
