OCEANVIEW Avon - Dolphin Lane. Emmenez votre famille et vos surfs, boogie et paddle boards pour profiter du sable et du surf depuis cette maison claire et lumineuse au bord de l’océan. SURFIN'S SADIE'S est à quelques minutes à pied de l'accès à la plage privée de la rue et en quelques minutes et vous attrapez des vagues ou simplement mettre en place votre chaise de plage en face du surf. Cette maison est perchée sur un cul-de-sac tranquille - vous permettant de vous détendre sans perturbation de la circulation à travers la rue. SURFIN 'SADIE'S est également facilement accessible à pied aux magasins et restaurants pour tous les membres de la famille - le glacier local (Cups & Cones) et le caviste local (Island Spice and Wine). Lorsque vous arrivez à la maison, il y a un grand parking sur l'allée pavée en béton et à quelques pas, vous pouvez entrer dans la maison par l'entrée au rez-de-chaussée sec. Montez au niveau de la chambre à coucher où vous trouverez une chambre des maîtres avec TV et DVD, une autre chambre avec 2 ensembles de couchettes et une autre avec la reine qui a accès à une terrasse privée couverte pour se détendre à l'ombre. La buanderie est située au niveau de la chambre, ce qui signifie qu'il n'y a pas de marche ou de descente des escaliers pour les serviettes fraîches. Il y a des ventilateurs de plafond dans toute la maison, y compris un dans chaque chambre. Le niveau supérieur de la maison comporte la grande pièce, la cuisine et la quatrième chambre à coucher, également avec un lit de roi. La cuisine lumineuse et bien aménagée offre suffisamment de commodités pour créer de bons repas et les apprécier ensemble à la grande table à manger. Le salon et la salle à manger ouverts offrent un lieu de rassemblement confortable où la famille peut s'asseoir et profiter d'un film ou d'une conversation informelle. Le salon TV et DVD sont accompagnés d'un certain nombre de livres, DVD et jeux. Étape dehors sur le pont supérieur et vous pourrez également profiter de la vue sur l'océan et le coucher du soleil et un plongeon dans le grand bain à remous pour 6 personnes. Cette maison confortable avec son décor qui aime les vagues, son emplacement idéal pour aller à la plage et aux boutiques offre le cadre idéal pour une escapade fantastique pour toute la famille.

Fantastic house when traveling with pets

We traveled to Avon for a family vacation and stayed here!! They house is great, perfectly set up to travel with your pets!! The fenced in yard is connected directly to the queen bedroom so worked fantastic for us!! Highly recommend new beds!! The mattresses are dated and not comfortable at all!!

The master bed was sunken in the middle and extremely uncomfortable. On day 4 as I sat in the edge of the bed it completely broke. Had to call to have it fixed, so I couldn’t leave the house. It was repaired, but I had to make the bed. On day 6, I moved the curtain to open it and the entire wooden rod came crashing down on me.

Fun week in OBX

Had a great week. Traveled with my husband, 2 1/2 year old, 3 month old and 10 year old niece along with another family. Loved the house and hot tub. You do have some stairs to climb to get to the main floor with the kitchen. We were able to check-in early which was great. Unfortunately the code to get in was incorrect and took a couple days to send someone to fix so we were unable to lock the door when we went to the beach. The walk to the beach was too much of a hike for us with having to carry the kids and all of our stuff (up stairs and over sand dunes). We ended up driving to the beach at the pier for most of the week because it was more convenient for us. Other than that it was a great house and close to stores for anything you need to pick up.

Hi Carie, Thank you for your review. Most of the homes on Hatteras Island and the Outer Banks have "reverse floorplans", meaning the Great Room and Kitchen are on the top floor. This is to allow for the best view of the ocean or sound as possible. We do understand that it is a climb up to the top, but that's where the best views usually are. Please accept our deepest apologies for the incorrect code to your vacation home. It's good to hear on the up side, that over all you had a fun week. We hope you will stay with us again next summer!

This property was very nice. The rooms were clean and roomy. Kitchen had lots of extras as far as cookware necessaries. The hot tub was refreshing. Only down fall was I had was I have a toddler and the walk to the beach is sorta a short walk but with a toddler and all the things you need to take along for them it was a long walk. The wagon didn't work because if the stairs you climbed to get to the beach. Other than that it was wonderful.

Great location!

This house was a short 3 min walk to the beach. There were a lot of shops nearby so everything was very convenient. the house was exactly as described and worked very well for our group. We would definitely stay here again!

House is Nice

House was very nice. The house keepers need to do a better job at cleaning needs some TLC. Dirty filter in AC unit, dusty furniture and blinds. Sand still in tubs. Felt like they didnt clean very well. However other then that the house was comfortable and met our needs

Be prepared to climb!

Kitchen and living room were on the third floor. 6 flights of stairs to get there! Exhausting! Beach access was another climb of several stairs. Pool was closed. Not sure how it can be called a community pool. You have to get in the car to drive there. How to purchase a grill because the house grill is in the a k yard in swamp land when it rains.

Hi Gail, Thank you for your review. Most of the homes on Hatteras Island and the Outer Banks have what are known as "reverse floorplans", meaning the Great Room and Kitchen are on the top floor. This is to allow for the best view of the ocean or sound as possible. We do understand that it is a climb up to the top, but that's where the best views usually are. The community pool, while not exactly walking distance to every home, if closed, it was most likely due to Covid 19 restrictions, by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. Please accept our deepest apologies for the grill. We hope you will give us the opportunity to earn your trust again in the future with another stay with us.

Enjoyed our stay

Wonderful week at the Outer Banks! House is very nice. It was just 2 of us and our dog so we stayed on the top floor and utilized the king size bedroom on that level. There are 3 bedrooms on the lower level plus a 2nd bath - all looked very nice. I reduced by 1 star for cleanliness because the refrigerator could use a thorough cleaning where something spilled and the glass needs to be removed to effectively clean. Also the ceiling vents & ceiling fans need to be cleaned. Aside from those items, the house is very clean. The house is conveniently located in Avon which is great. The house sits slightly off the road tucked in with other houses, again not really a negative, I just prefer a little more space between me and my neighbors. Overall a great, comfortable house.
