OCEANVIEW Rodanthe - Dr. South Shore Dites bonjour à cette charmante maison avec piscine privée, ascenseur pratique et accès à la plage juste en bas de la rue. Doté de 5 chambres, vous trouverez la première chambre au premier étage avec 2 lits simples réunis par un bain de la salle et la lessive. Le deuxième niveau offre 3 chambres supplémentaires, dont une chambre principale avec un roi avec salle de bain privée et deux chambres partageant une salle de bain avec couloir (grand lit, pyramide et double avec lit gigogne). Sortez sur le pont pour profiter du bain bouillonnant où vous pouvez faire tremper vos soucis. Aussi à ce niveau est la tanière confortable avec TV / DVD et des sièges confortables pour le groupe. Wonderful location but house needs updating/cleaning

The location was great and the house looked wonderful but when we went inside a lot of items were broken or not kept up.

Great Stay!

The home was perfect for our stay! The pool area was an extended living space, and we loved the Tiki Bar!

Reality

Will never book with surf and sound again. The house describes the location much closer to the ocean it’s actually closer to route 12, all the smoke detectors were unhooked and hanging when we arrived there was food all over the dining room table and coffee table. They don’t tell you no linens are provided thank god I called before hand they don’t provide pier passes like ALL the other companies we’ve used. Part of check out is making sure the dishes are in the dish washer yet no soaps of any kind are provided, no toilet paper, no hand soap, trash bags. Communication was ridiculous because I wasn’t going to download the app since it was our first time booking with them then getting them to answer the phone was a joke . We go to outer banks EVERY year for the past six years this was by far our worst experience

Amber, please accept our sincere apology for the disappointment you experienced during your stay. We hope you contacted the office to have someone come out to re-clean for you. We realize it is a disruption but we are happy to do it if provided the opportunity. We do list on each of our homes if linens and towels are provided. If not provided, we note that they are available for rent. Again, we apologize for your disappointment and we hope your future visits to the Outer Banks are pleasant.

Sandy ties and moldy house

We loved that we got to check in early, but the house was not the cleanest. We also saw several areas where mold was growing. There was a leak in the living room with mold growing. There was mold around lighting and vents. Several of us got soar throats and coughed during our stay. I hope someone has looked into this problem. We also would recommend a better cleaning team. Bathrooms still had tooth paste remnants on walls and sinks. We were missing some pillows and bedding. The bedding was replaced, but we never got the missing pillow. Surf or Sound did give us a new propane tank when ours ran out and we’re very prompt in responding to our questions. We did enjoy our vacation and plan to return next year, but not to Hi View.
