Waterfront Llano River Cabin w / Huge Deck

Sortez dans le cadre champêtre calme et tranquille sur la rivière Llano. Asseyez-vous et détendez-vous tout en regardant et en écoutant l'eau cristalline ruisseler sur les affleurements rocheux de granit. Profitez des commodités modernes dans la cabine fluviale rénovée. Les familles sont les bienvenues avec beaucoup d'espace pour se déplacer pour les enfants de tous âges. Il y a beaucoup de terrains en pente graduelle entre la cabane et la rivière pour jouer. La cabine est située en toute sécurité à environ 150 mètres du bord de l'eau hors de toute plaine inondable. Sortez et profitez de la cuisine en plein air, des grillades ou du fumage tout en admirant les vues lointaines depuis l'immense terrasse. Leur est un petit foyer avec du bois prévu pour une torréfaction de plus! Trois kayaks sont disponibles si vous décidez de vous aventurer sur l'incroyable rivière Llano et de profiter du Hill Country. La rivière a une largeur d’environ 200 ’sur la propriété, offrant 2 emplacements de rapides directement en face de la propriété. Un rapide est proche de la rive avec un accès facile et l'autre est au milieu de la rivière. La profondeur de l'eau va de bas-fonds gravement près de la rive à des trous de type plus profond vers le milieu. Plusieurs arbres ombragent la berge pour votre chaise de jardin préférée et un arbre ombrage la rivière à côté de la zone graveleuse de petits rapides. La faune est abondante dans la région avec une possibilité de voir le castor qui vit dans la région. La pêche est excellente dans ce domaine avec le poisson-chat et l'achigan. La propriété a beaucoup à offrir si vous aimez le plein air et est assez confortable pour se reposer et dormir paisiblement.

This was the best trip we have ever had. The pictures do not do this home justice. There isnt a stove but everything you need in place of one is provided. Its absolutely amazing.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The weather was perfect and we were able to walk down by the river and watch the sunset. The view from the back window in the morning was so beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The couch was comfortable. The only thing I have to say is I wish the oven and burners worked. I would have done more cooking there at the house.

Another Great Trip

The rain so far in 2023 has been great for this part of the Llano. This is our 5th trip at Patrick’s and the river cabin gives you very special access to a beautiful section of the river. Would recommend for families or fisherman.

Wonderful spot!

We've stayed at this location twice now and will come back again! Such a great location right on the river with everything you'd need. Our kids had a wonderful time exploring! *Be aware that the main cooking mechanism is microwave or grill, no stovetop or oven. The grill is awesome and was enough for us.

Tess, We are so happy to share our property with families like yours. We really appreciate the repeats visits! I have posted in several places the microwave/convection oven combo only inside. We love cooking outside on the big deck so much and want to ensure a clean fresh smelling cabin for all of our guests that we have never installed a conventional stove. I think all of our guests thus far would agree you want to be outside enjoying nature as much as possible while on the property. Thanks again and hope to see you next Spring Break!

Private cabin with easy access to the river!

We loved staying at this cabin and will again for sure! The river access was great and it was wonderful to be able to fish and hang out in the water. When the river is higher, will be great to use the Kayaks they have on site. On site grill was awesome and we used it several times. There is also easy access to either Llano or Castell. Check out the Castell General Store for great BBQ.

Perfect spot!

Quiet, relaxing, waterfront getaway. My son said it’s perfect and just like he remembers it. This is one place we keep coming back to and would love to come again. Quiet tranquil setting, super river access, great space and lovely country getaway. Out kid loves it, our dog loves it and we love it. We always eat dinner in town. This time we also visited the farmers market, a bbq spot and all the shops in town. Such a great vacation and lovely wknd getaway. Thanks for renting to us again.

A Quiet Time on the River

My daughter & I had sought some peaceful time together on the Llano River in the midst of the pandemic & we achieved just that. We spent much time down at the property’s beautiful river frontage (and in the water during the heat of the day). We also kayaked a stretch of the river & I did some fly fishing. We sat on the deck during a good part of most mornings & evenings. Mission accomplished!

Llano River Cabin

Host provided all needed info timely. Lot was wonderful with great access to the River. There was an abundance of wildlife, we even saw some sort of wild mountain cat so kept pet on a long leash! Don’t think cabin had any heating but a space heater was available. Found one dead scorpion in the house but no others. I would recommend this property, especially to relax on the deck😃

Great “country like” stay on beautiful property!

This was our first time staying in Llano, and this VRBO was like being in the country but still close to amenities. Beautiful property. Checkin was easy and exactly as shared. Directions were very clear. We had fun exploring he river. The river was extremely low (like every body of water due to the drought) but we walked and found a spot that was flowing. We found some great rocks, cooked off, played, hiked in the river sole more, up a huge rock in the river and back down, around and back. Would love to come back when the river is really flowing to see how it is. We appreciate being able to bring our dog, she was scared of the water but walked on the rocks and ran up and down the hill after and with us. The house is small but was just what we needed. We ate dinner out each night at a different spot. We got a couple TV channels and wasn't a big deal to be without cable afterall and our cell service was fine (no issues with AT&T). The only thing we weren't aware of and had no clue about was scorpions! We found several, I think eight so I would cautions walking barefoot inside and out. Over all a great stay and we'd do it again. The porch and deck is nice, we just went in at dark after feeding the deer (saw a few). And the view for the house to the river is spectacular. Thank you for letting us stay!

Traci!, Sounds like y’all had fun. So glad. We love for folks to get out and enjoy the nature the property offers. The worst drought since the 1950’s did slow the flow of the Llano river to a halt in August, but rains have finally come and its back flowing strong again. The drought caused quite the scorpion issue you encountered. Very sorry about that! They have since been treated and we don’t see any further signs. Rain helped with that too. Take care and hope you make it back to see and hear the normal river flow another time. Thanks!!

Exceptional Service

Even though it was much hotter and drier this stay than our last we still had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and so peaceful and relaxing. The house was clean and inviting. The owner does a tremendous job taking care of the property and of the visitors. We arrived late on a Thursday evening and on Friday morning my husband realized the coffee pot wasn't working and that the refrigerator wasn't cooling properly. He emailed the owner and by 4:00 that same afternoon a new coffee pot and a new refrigerator were delivered to the the house!! We certainly did not expect that kind of service. Would definitely stay here again!

Pretty and Peaceful

I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for to escape from the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life. My family really enjoyed the peace and quiet and watching the wildlife. We loved using the grill and while my husband was cooking, the rest of us lounged on the huge deck. The whole process was a breeze and we knew if we needed anything we could reach out to Patrick. We didn’t have to though since the home had everything we needed. It was the perfect place for what my family was looking for and we would stay again!

Great place!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in this river cabin. The river is beautiful and my 2 sons (11 and 14) enjoyed going up and down the river in the kayaks fishing all day. My husband and I loved just sitting in river chairs enjoying the peaceful Llano river! We went into Castell one day for burgers at the general store. We ate lunch one day in Llano at Gio’s Italian restaurant after hiking Enchanted Rock! Nothing was disappointing. Everything was great! We would love to go back!❤️😎

Peaceful river getaway

We love staying here! We’ve stayed here multiple times over past couple years in both summer & spring months. The cabin is always clean & comfortable. Patrick, the owner, is always super nice, helpful & quick to respond. The street is quiet & secluded & the neighbors are very nice & friendly. The river area is awesome with a swimming area anywhere from ankle deep to over 5ft deep. Great place to explore or just relax & cool off.

Clean and quiet

We needed a short break from the world, and this was the perfect place. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to birds and watching the wildlife. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We came to Llano to find a little Llanite (which we did), but we also found a great little town, some cool hiking places, and the perfect home away from home to enjoy it in.

OUTSTANDING!!!

The property was just as he explained. Very relaxing. House was perfect for our family of four. Walk down to the water was easy for all of us and was very clean. Kids played in the water(COLD .. but kids don't care) and we could sit and watch them. Picnic table was perfect. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU again Patrick. :)

Great community in Llano

In addition to a nice property as noted by others (we appreciate that the lawn was mowed from the house all the way down to the river), we loved Llano. Having to work one day of our stay, we went to the coffee shop in town for WiFi, and we met lots of great people, enjoyed the live music and got in a little Christmas shopping before heading back to the property for fishing and grilling burgers.

Heaven on the Llano River!

We were so pleased with our decision to stay here! Patrick was fabulous in responding to the few questions we had. It was mentioned in a previous review that a wagon was helpful to tote items between the cabin and river. So happy we brought ours. We ended up toting our dog back and forth because even though the land was so nicely mowed, there were stickers the time of year we stayed. We 1000% would love to come back. We did not see another human our entire 3 days on the river. Exactly what we were hoping for. As with any rental, if you can not live without it, bring it with you just in case. Great nature getaway

We loved the location and access to the river. You can’t see the River very well from the porch and we did see a rattlesnake two days in a row by the water but it didn’t ruin our fun.
