C'est une belle propriĂ©tĂ© d'Édimbourg situĂ©e dans une rue calme au cƓur de la nouvelle ville d'Édimbourg. La propriĂ©tĂ© a Ă©tĂ© restaurĂ©e avec amour pour offrir une base spacieuse, confortable et moderne pour vos aventures Ă  Edimbourg. Il y a des planchers en bois restaurĂ©s et de belles caractĂ©ristiques, telles que des peintures murales originales dans toute la maison, qui crĂ©ent une abondance de charme et de caractĂšre.

En entrant dans la cour privĂ©e, vous ĂȘtes accueilli par la cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e et le salon spacieux est Ă  droite. Le salon comprend des siĂšges confortables, une nouvelle tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat et une charmante cheminĂ©e Ă©lectrique. Nous avons Ă©galement rĂ©cemment ajoutĂ© une table Ă  manger et des chaises.

Il y a deux chambres de bonne taille à l'arriÚre de la propriété, toutes deux avec de grands espaces de rangement et des lits trÚs confortables! Ma femme de ménage les préparera avec des draps et des serviettes de qualité hÎteliÚre pour votre séjour.

Il y a aussi une salle de bains familiale entre les deux chambres, avec une douche.

Un parking gratuit est disponible dans la rue tous les week-ends et les soirs (aprĂšs 17h30). Payez et affichez pendant les heures normales de bureau.

Un berceau est disponible dans la propriété pour les enfants plus petits, mais veuillez noter qu'il n'y a pas de literie séparée pour cela.

We loved our stay in this flat. Clean & beautiful with a lovely little garden in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance (15min) to St. Andrew's Square & the Waverley train station. Lots of good restraunts around as well!

Lovely flat, great location, terrific manager.

We enjoyed our month and a half stay at this garden flat just at the edge of New Town and Stockbridge. The flat was well appointed, and Gemma, the manager responded quickly to any questions we had. She even sent someone over a day after we arrived to help us figure out the thermostat and the towel rack. We couldn't have been happier.

Charming 2 bedrooms close to center of Edinburgh

Stayed at this charming two bedrooms for 5 days. The owner Gemma is very responsive. The apartment has all new furnitures and kitchen. Functional bathroom and close to Tesco market. 20 mins walk to royal mile or train station. Lacking some dinning space but if you don’ t plan to cook much there, it is not a problem. A few nice breakfast places really close by. Will stay there again next time

Garden Flat City Centre

This flat is perfect for a city break; 15 minutes walk or a short taxi ride from Princes St gardens. Very close to Stockbridge/Dean Village if you want to avoid the usual city centre haunts. The flat itself was ideal and Gemma's communications before and during were exactly what was needed. The apartment itself is in a very quiet neighbourhood and just as decscribed in the listing

Thoughts

Very comfortable accommodation. Felt like coming home after a long day touring the city. We did get lost finding it. Spent some time on #8 Cumberland st before being directed around the building to Cumberland lane. Our bad.

Please provide a refund on this stay

This is a pleasant property but the whole experience was ruined from the start by a problem with the heating. We were visiting Edinburgh during a cold March weekend and were only told that the heating wasn't working as we were about to open the door. An engineer apparently could only be booked for the NEXT day so we were left without heating for the first night of a two-day stay with our young nephew. We immediately asked for supply of a fan heater or a portable radiator. This request was simply ignored and it appears the host isn't even in Edinburgh so there are no real contingencies where these kind of issues take place. The only other source of heat was an electric fire which turned itself off repeatedly after a few minutes. There were communications with the host, but the ultimate response was 'feel free to give me a bad review' - so this VRBO host would rather guests have a negative experience than take concerted steps to resolve a problem. This was our first stay at a VRBO property: based on this experience it will most definitely be the last. We will be contacting VRBO and the host to obtain a refund on this stay.

Great place to visit Edinburgh

Enjoyed but have one suggestion. It rained quite a bit while we were there and it was impossible not to track some dirt in even though there was a door mat immediately inside the door that was too small. Suggest one at the foot of the first step inside.

Narrow access hides spacious apartment

This is a nice apartment clearly recently renovated . Access to this very old building in an historic part of town is offputting at first as through three locked doors and across a small walkway over a canal and through a tiny yard then up a VERY narrow staircase. Carry one case at a time. We feared we had made a mistake but once inside the apartment it is spacious clean and modern. One side faces a street but the bedroom is quiet and faces a courtyard. The kitchen is fine but lacks lights above the cooking area which is very dark as a result. This needs addressing. Owner communication was terrific . Location very good and you can walk everwhere including to the station

Great space and location!

Easy walking distance to all we wanted to do downtown. Very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Close walk to grocery store, so longer stays that involve cooking would be no problem. Would certainly stay here again!

Ruhig gelegene und schön eingerichtete Wohnung

Mit der SchlĂŒsselbox hatten wir einen flexiblen Zugang zur Wohnung. Die Zimmer waren alle sehr schön eingerichtet mit neuen Möbeln. Alles auch sehr sauber. Wir waren schnell im Zentrum aber auch in der Altstadt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und gut geschlafen.

big, well equipped apartment

the apartment/flat was very large! lots of room. nice bathroom with lots of hot water. Kitchen well equipped. Location is quiet. check and communication was great with host. only suggestion for improvement..and it is minor....is a blanket of some sort. Other than that...excellent.

Perfect home away from home

This flat was perfect for our stay in Edinburgh being within walking distance of many attractions. While being tucked away in a quiet private neighborhood. It was also clean & very comfortable with newly updated features. The beautiful patio space topped it off and I would love to visit it again !
