Need better maintance

The location was good Cleaninf was ok however the unit needs a lot of maintenance. The fridge and AC worked like tractor and it was very difficult to sleep At bight with the noise of these 2. The carpet was extremely old and had a lot of stains.

If you want to be left outside sleeping in your car book with Vacasa

Terrible company, have book with Vacasa about 8 times and there’s not even 1 time this company gets it right, extremely disorganized and unprofessional, such a shame they have so many properties in Kauai

A perfect and convenient condo with pool and hot tub that was walkable to all we needed—farmer’s market, pharmacy, beach, restaurants, shopping, and bus stop! We miss it already and can’t wait to return and sip coffee on the balcony in the sunrise!

A disappointment!

I travelled with my adult son and daughter. The sofa bed was terrible. The mattress is old and sinks in the middle. Because of the window by the entrance door the outside hallway light comes in the living room at night. The bedroom’s beds were comfortable if you like a very soft mattress. There is a very strong smell every time you enter the unit which triggered my daughter’s allergies. After a few days bugs started to appear in the kitchen. Pretty sure they were cockroaches. And no we did not leave food on counter. The carpets should be removed!! We were very disappointed and would not recommend this listing.

Good stay!

We stayed at this place for 7 nights! The room was clean and the host left us a personalized note if we needed any assistance. Checking in was difficult as the front desk stated they had no record of me booking the room. After about an hour they gave me a room key and said they would handle everything in the morning. Also the hot tub had some strange chemical which caused my girlfriend and I to both have coughing attacks. If you stay here do not use the pool. Other than those two things it was a great stay.

Good location

Nice and clean. The beds could have been better. The pull out couch was awful but luckily there was a blow up mattress in the closet. The 2nd day I hurt my knee and no elevator. You have to drive to the beach unless you want to hike through a field of tall grass that didn'tfeel safe to me. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Close to good restaurants a pharmacy and airport. Plan for travel time to South shore activities.

Good place but BEWARE the A/C may not work

Quiet place, great location, easy to get to, short walk to a nice beach, close to grocery store. The small A/C unit was NOT working when we arrived on Sunday and the Vacasa mngr, Alex, was a great resource! Alex got the A/C tech out on Monday and they got it working. The tech did destroy a phone charger that was left plugged into the wall but, that's not Vacasa's fault. The place was clean-ish and a little dated but, I'm easy to please. My wife would not have been so easy to please :\.

Great value! Perfect location!

We loved our stay here and the location of this condo is just perfect! It is close to Kapaa town as well as Lydgate beach which is a perfect beach for families with children! The condo was clean and as expected!

Great spot for a great price

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. The location was close to Safeway and Kapa’a restaurants and stores, and an easy drive to Poipu or The North Shore, depending on the weather. The pool and hot tub were great for the kids at the end of the day. Kitchen was well equipped and kept our meal times simple and affordable.

Nice unit, but could use some attention to detail and refurbishment

We stayed 4 nights and were somewhat disappointed by the noise from the highway and the cleanliness of the condo. There were dried cherry pits and stems between the box spring and the mattress and the unit itself looks like it has never been refurbished since it was built in the 70's. The complex is nice and the location is great. We had some trouble checking in because the front desk wasn't very friendly and unwilling to allow us to check in even 5 minutes early. I would not stay at this place again, but I did not feel feel it was a poor value for the money spent. We spent the last night at a hotel down the road and it was much nicer and quieter even though it was just as close to the highway, but it cost a lot more.

Nice sized one bedroom suite for two people. Good location to explore all areas of the island. Easy access to restaurants for eating out or to pick up groceries to eat in.

Had a delay with check in that took a half-hour and three phone calls to fix, not good after a 12 hour travel day. But the place was good, great pool and grounds. Pay w/d in building. Very close to beaches. The unit could use a flooring upgrade from the carpet, but overall a nice place for the price. There is traffic noise, which we didn't mind and you can't hear when everything is shut and the AC is running. (I'd recommend calling Plantation Hale prior to your arrival to make sure they were emailed your key agreement for entry.)
