À 5 minutes de la porte sud de Yosemite et de Mariposa Grove. 2 suites Master complètes avec jets d'eau dans les baignoires et tuiles chauffantes. Espace de vie au deuxième étage avec vue imprenable sur les séquoias et avec une grande cuisine entièrement équipée. Loin de la route principale et situé au milieu des bois avec une grande cour et une salle de jeux.

Pour les golfeurs et les joueurs de tennis, Wawona est à 15 minutes et dispose d'un magnifique parcours de 9 trous et de 2 courts de tennis. Pour les propriétaires de Tesla, le super chargeur est à 5 minutes à pied de l'autre côté de la rue. Le village de Yosemite est à 1 heure de route.

Has Everything you need!

The property was very clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. 5 minutes to south entrance of Yosemite which was perfect!

We loved staying at the Carriage House. We loved the contemporary decor of the house, the hosts are great and pending, everything is as seen in the photos and you are you are in a great location.

What an Outstanding Stay

This was our families first trip to Yosemite and we couldn't have asked for a better house for our stay! John and Rose were incredible and the house fit our families needs perfectly! We will defiantly be back and we would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great stay near Yosemite.

Wonderful home away from home

We loved our stay at the Carriage House - it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Rose and John are fantastic hosts and even provided extra cleaning supplies. Communication was great before and during our stay. The location cannot be beat and we would definitely return the next time we visit Yosemite!

Perfect Park Access

The Carriage House was the perfect location! Literally 10 minutes from the south entrance it gave you easy access to Yosemite and an opportunity to rest quickly after a long hike. The owner was very communicative and the home was both lovely and spotless which feels safe during these Covid times.

Perfect stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House! Perfect for a family of 4, with ample, usable space in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very attentive and prompt to ensure our stay was wonderful. When it unexpectedly snowed, they called the plowing service right away to make sure we were covered. Thank you Rose for checking on us!

Perfect Stay

Our long weekend stay at the Carriage House was perfect. We attended our niece’s wedding at Tenaya Lodge which was just minutes away. And we did a day trip to Yosemite and the Carriage House was just a few miles from the park entrance. House was super clean, well stocked kitchen, wonderful open kitchen/dining/living area, and owner was so helpful and responsive. I definitely would stay again and would recommend to anyone wanting a little home away from home near Yosemite.

Yosemite visit

Carriage House is lovely! But just as important was that John & Rose (the owners) are especially accommodating & did their best to promptly reply & do all they could to make our stay comfortable. Much appreciated! Fish Camp is very close to the South Entrance of the park & Mariposa Grove so we covered that end of the park while staying at Carriage House. Worked out perfectly! The only suggestion for future guests is to clarify the instructions for your new Apple TV... a great addition also!! Super stay, thank you!

Amazing place to stay

Our family of four spent 5 nights/5 days at this wonderful cottage. It’s location is perfect for daily visits to Yosemite. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful and a great place to take an evening stroll. The home is has everything you need for cooking meals and preparing for a great day in nature. We enjoyed the outside dining area. We slept so well in the comfortable beds. Parking is easy just outside of the house. Rose was a wonderful host. Clear communication throughout our trip. We highly recommend this home and experience. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us especially during this challenging season of COVID. This getaway was just what our family needed, and we are very grateful for these memories and time together as a family.

Lovely House

My family and I had a lovely visit at the Carriage House. Amongst the many rustic options in Yosemite this house was modern and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The Apple TV was a definite bonus for our kids! The owners were wonderful to deal with. So easy and pleasant. They responded right away to any questions that we had which was very helpful. The only thing I will caution other travelers on is the location. It is exactly as advertised. It is 5 minutes from the Yosemite gate. and 5 minutes from the Mariposa Groves which is great. However, if you plan on spending a lot of time in Yosemite Valley it will take about an hour each way from this house. We definitely spent more time in the car than we anticipated. It's a lovely drive but by the fourth day of making the trek it got tiresome. But overall this was a fantastic trip and we loved the house!

Serene, comfy home with amenities

Our family of 4 had the best time staying at the Carriage House while visiting Yosemite. Our kids, 4 and 7, enjoyed playing in the yard, walking around the neighborhood, and hanging out at the house when we weren't out exploring Yosemite and nearby areas. The kitchen is great and has everything you need, and the open-floor plan worked well for us. It's quiet, warm, comfy and secure. The owners Rose and John quickly answered our initial questions when we inquired about booking, and Rose sent us lots of helpful and welcoming information. Everything was clean and comfortable, with lots of attention to detail. The house is only 10 minutes from the south gate to Yosemite, which is where we spent most of our days. But there are also great hikes just down the road, plus an interesting historic narrow-gauge railroad (seasonal). The town of Oakhurst, about 20-30 minutes down the hill, has grocery stores and restaurants, plus a fantastic, old-school (hands on) children's museum (Children's Museum of the Sierras). We also ventured over to nearby Tenaya Lodge one night for dinner, which was okay, but we preferred to cook in the lovely kitchen and just hang out. This is definitely a nice place to stay for families, a pair of couples, or a small group of friends.

Yosemite NP Retreat

This was a great property and so close to the National Park entrance. The carriage house was clean, comfortable and very inviting. The kitchen was well stocked and having the grill made cooking a breeze. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. After spending the day exploring and hiking in the park, the house provided a warm and relaxing rest. I would stay here again if in the area.

Carriage House at Yosemite

Wonderful, clean place. Easy access and short driving time to Southern entrance to Yosemite and Mariposa Grove. Made it easy for us the tour Yosemite. Easy access to Oakhurst for supplies and restaurants. Communications with property owner was easy and offered advice. Would recommend highly.

Amazing location

We stayed here for Thanksgiving week and had a great trip. The house is well located minutes from the entrance to Yosemite NP. Tenaya Lodge and all it’s amenities is directly across highway 41. The house is clean and the kitchen was perfect for Thanksgiving cooking. The two ovens certainly helped. A few negatives on the property— the lack of a dresser in one of the bedrooms for putting clothes away, the kitchen knives were horribly dull and a few of the apps on the TV needed updating but required a master password to update. This was a great place and the owner was super nice and very easy to communicate with.

Yosemite perfection

My kids loved the play house and airplane toy. It was a quiet house. Excellent location for a conference at Tenaya Lodge and access to Yosemite NP. Would definitely stay here again.

A Stones Throw Away From YNP

The Carriage House is a quaint and tidy; just a 5 minute drive to Yosemite's South Entrance. There are a flight of stairs to access the main level of the house. Since the closest major town, Oakhurst is 20 minutes south we ended up cooking most of our meals at the house (and had to plan our grocery shopping accordingly). The kitchen is lightly stocked (due to COVID) and the pots and pans are mostly nonstick are old and scratched. There are few stainless steel pots and baking sheets that were good to use. There are ample of plates, but only 4 coffee mugs, which made us run the dishwasher more often than we would have liked. Especially since we would leave the house early in the morning and come home in the evening. The listing mentions having Direct TV, but you need to have your own account to watch it. (We had to scramble to find a way watch some the NBA playoff games. It wasn't a big deal, just wish the listing was clear.) The Wifi in the house is great. We didn't get to use the backyard much due to the mosquitos, but it looked like it would have been fun to sit out on. The best part of the renting this house are the owners. They are very nice and helpful. They are quick to respond and answer any questions. If you are going to visit Yosemite, the Carriage House is a great location.

Perfect first getaway for our family after over one year

Our house in the woods. This is how our 3 year old calls it. And this is how we felt during our stay. It was our first over night outing in almost 2 years and we could not have picked a better place. The house was clean, roomy, comfortable and had everything we needed. My kids enjoyed playing in the yard and finding 3,4, 5 and even 6 leaved clover! Yes, this place must be magical! I communicated with the owner multiple times during our stay, she was very responsive if we had a question and beyond friendly. We are looking forward to return many times and enjoy all seasons in Yosemite. Thank you, Rose, for sharing your beautiful place with us.

Fantastic place to stay. Very close to the park entrance. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. The house is very comfortable and served our needs perfectly. We loved the kitchen and dining setup. We really enjoyed preparing our meals and then sitting and the table reliving our daily adventures! We have been going up to Yosemite every year for many years and since our growing family enjoys visiting the park so much, we decided to buy a getaway place, and this Carriage House was perfect for its close proximity to Yosemite National Park, a large lot, and quiet and tranquil surroundings.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our house is unique in several different ways. It's cool in the summer when we need cool fresh air and snows in the winter where we can have snowball fights right on our lawn!
We love to spend time in our living room and enjoy the view of beautiful trees from our bay window.
Also, we are only 15 minutes away from the city of Oakhurst, where there are restaurants and grocery stores. Lastly, there are Tesla Superchargers right across the street!!
