Il y a 2 CHAMBRES: dans la première, vous avez le choix entre 1 lit king ou 2 lits doubles Mountain Luxury. Cette suite peut avoir 2 niveaux en fonction de la configuration de literie sélectionnée. Dans la deuxième chambre, vous avez le choix entre 1 lit queen size ou 2 lits doubles Mountain Luxury. Vous trouverez un coffre-fort dans la chambre pour stocker vos objets de valeur lors de votre exploration de Banff et de ses environs. Le canapé-lit double dans le salon est parfait pour les invités supplémentaires ou pour les enfants.

    The facilities and room were clean and the staff was very friendly. Location of property was easily walkable to downtown Banff. The hot tub on the ground floor was the kids favorite.

    Nice but furniture needs to be updated

    Everything was terrific but the king mattress was sinking in the middle and the couch was old and worn out. The hotel staff was super friendly and very accommodating so I would definitely recommend this hotel just because of that.

    Good location, great hot tub

    The 2 room suite was plenty of room for our family of 5. We put the sofa bed on the floor of one of the rooms so none of the kids had to share a bed. It was a 12 minute walk to downtown Banff. The hot tub cave was a big hit with the kids.

    Worked for us, but not if all 6 of us came.

    Seemed like they down graded us once I told them there was only 3 of us instead of the oringal 6. That would have been alright if we hadn’t prepaid or they offered us a refund. They were very quick to remove all the extra tickets for meals, etc from our welcome packet as well, even after we paid the extra charges for the 5th and 6th person. The property was nice and the hot tub grotto was cool, but we didn’t feel as welcomed as we could have for having over prepaying so much.

    Hi Lawrence, thank you for your review on our property. I am so glad you enjoyed the grotto hot tub and found the property nice! We did follow-up with our resort partners about what unit you stayed in and they let us know that you were not downgraded upon arrival but rather stayed in the largest room category of 2-bedroom suite which sleeps up to 10 people. The breakfast is complimentary so this shouldn't have changed anything that was received in the welcome package. Sorry for the confusion with the booking and if we had known in advance we would have been happy to update your booking to 3 people and adjust the prices accordingly. Best Regards, The Leavetown Team

    Great place for a family with young adults

    Our family of 4 (kids 21 and 18) stayed here for 4 nights and it was great. Easy walk to downtown, but they gave us free 3-day passes to use on the entire Roam public transit system, so several times we just hopped on the 1 if we were tired of walking. Front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room got a little warm at night but stand-up fans in the closets helped. Nice balcony for the mornings before the kids were up. The grotto pool was great, although one night it was very crowded. The only complaint was the showers; we had a water pressure problem that came and went. We asked the front desk to look at it one day while we were out but I'm not sure they did because it persisted. Housekeeping replaced the towels each day, even though we hung them up to reuse; they also entered and cleaned one day when we had the Do Not Disturb card in the lock. But these are minor issues, and I would absolutely stay here again.

    Would stay again but request bed preference directly through hotel!

    The online booking process said that we needed to request a bed configuration since we booked a 2 bedroom suite. Since we are a family of 5 we wanted one room with a king and the second with two full beds. We placed the request however upon check in they said that Leavetown, who we booked through, had not forwarded the request and that it was a common problem. They offered to upgrade us for 2 nights (not for free), but we did not want to switch rooms. So we ended up with with a two bedroom with 2 full beds in each. Not what we wanted, but it worked. Aside from that the property was beautiful and well maintained. It was about .5 mile to the downtown area but the weather was so beautiful that we didn’t mind the walk.

    This is a Hotel Room

    This is not a condo, and not a home. It is two adjoining hotel rooms inside the Fox Hotel. One is just a typical hotel room and bath, and the other has a living room and a “kitchen” on the top, and a bedroom below. There is no sound privacy between the living room and the bedroom in the unit with the LR, it is just an open stairwell, like a loft. The kitchen is only a small counter with sink, microwave, and mini-fridge. The other surprise was that the hotel lobby is dominated by a a big Chili’s chain restaurant. Aside from those big surprises/disappointments, it is a reasonably good set up and a nice place. Just not at all what is advertised or what we expected. It is much tighter quarters and much less privacy within the unit than a “two bedroom condo.”

    Cozy and Comfortable

    We had a suite on the third floor. Possibly 319 or 317. Can't remember. It exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure about it upon arriving. We booked online and honestly I was a bit skeptical. However, our suite was clean, comfortable and well laid out. There were 3 adults and 1 child in our party and it was the perfect size for us. One bedroom had double beds and the master had a king bed with bathroom en suite. The common space (living and kitchen area) were cozy but laid out in a way they didn't feel cramped to us. The kitchen had a small refrigerator, small coffee pot, sink, microwave, electric tea kettle, dinnerware, glassware and cutlery. There was a dining table with 4 chairs. Overall, the suite had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Daily housekeeping was a nice perk. The lobby wasn't fancy, and had a lot of foot traffic due to Chili's restaurant in the lobby, but it was comfortable. Seating is limited in the lobby. The front desk staff we encountered were friendly. The location of the Fox Hotel & Suites was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants in Banff. We walked often. However, at night due to cold weather or simply tiredness, we cabbed places. All-in-all, we were happy with our selection of this property.

    Great location

    We did a quick trip to Banff on our way to Saskatchewan. The accommodations were good. Location is great - walking distance to great restaurants, and to the Bow Falls.

    Great option for families in Banff

    We were able to get a suite that had three beds in two bedrooms. The kitchenette had everything we needed for our brief stay, and the bathroom set up was very convenient. My kids actually said "wow Mom, you found a great place". We'll be back!

    Great but disappointing

    We were VERY disappointed the pool/hot tub area was completely out of order. That is the main reason we booked at The Fox. However, the hotel did offer us incentives we accepted. It was an issue of unfortunate timing as no one was to blame. Furthermore, when we came back from skiing early to shower and go to town more disappointment to discover no hot water due to repairs. UGH!!! So, a bummer of a stay at The Fox.

    Good accommodation for family of six. Living space is a bit tight but plenty of bed space. Grotto hottub was a nice bonus. Very friendly staff. Close to downtown restaurants and driveable to Yoho, jasper and spots in Banff.

    Clean and Comfy

    The Fox was clean and comfy. We got a different layout than what was shown in the listing, but it ended up working out alright for our group. The hot tub could have been MUCH hotter so we only used it once, but other than that, we had a pleasant stay.
