Thank you for the review Alicia. Sometimes such information, like stairs, is hard to find as the site does not have a place to put such information and so I list such things on the rental agreement. I am unsure as to what happened with the dishwasher. I had my cleaner check it after your departure and it worked for him. I am sorry you had difficulty with it. As we spoke about, I do switch out the duvets when the weather gets warm, but had you let me know you wanted the heavier, more "fluffy" ones, I would have made that happen for you. Thank you for the review Randy. Again, my apologies for the parking situation. Some guests do not read my entire message as to where to park. Happily, it is a rare occurrence and normally there are no issues :))

I will attempt to respond to each complaint on this review. Osama was just really upset he had to provide identification and fought me for hours about it on check in day even though this information is requested on the rental agreement, in my welcome message received by all travelers after booking, and I reached out to him for it several times leading up to his stay, all of which went unanswered. I assure all, the villa is in top shape, even though a historic home built in the early 1900's, but was completely remodeled inside 12 years ago with all new plumbing, electrical, and everything else to modernize and still try to keep the historic feel. The villa is located in probably the safest and cleanest area of Long Beach, I have never in all my years of being a host, heard anyone say they felt unsafe. There is a beautiful park right across Ocean Blvd that leads to the beach. Absolutely gorgeous. The area is the pride of Long Beach with its many historic homes. In regard to the house rules/rental agreement, yes, it is long. The agreement, over 10 years ago, started as a one page document. It has grown through the years in order to protect the property. One would think it would be common knowledge not to get on the roof, yet a guest did it and broke roof tiles. I could not charge them as it was not stated in the rental agreement. So, everything on there is something a past guest did and I could not get reimbursed for damages. So, I apologize for past guests not respecting the villa and having to make is so long. All I ask is for guests to treat the villa as if it were their own, clean up dishes and take out the trash. I really am quite easy :)) Oh, and I am the one in the photo...a little older now, but the same person, LOL!! All this to say, I have had 1000's of travelers stay over the years, and the vast majority have come to love the villa as much as I and have many return year after year. Hi Tania, I don't advertise with A/C , there are plenty of fans in each room, I am so sorry that you did not see that, I offered Tania a property with A/C and she did not want to go, There was nothing wrong with the TV it worked fine, she wanted to watch a DVD and I let her know how to change the source button on the TV and then she could not change it back and did not let me know, I could have helped, I do try to please everyone and I am available via, email , text phone all the time.
