Ce sous-sol à la lumiÚre du jour, récemment rénové, s'est transformé en un bel appartement d'une chambre. Il a un lit queen size et un canapé-lit double dans la salle de bonus. La cuisine entiÚrement équipée facilite les longues visites. Il y a un parking privé couvert ou dans la rue. Wifi gratuit. Nous sommes situés à distance de marche de plusieurs magasins, restaurants, cafés et épiceries. Le front de mer de Tacoma et Point Ruston sont à quelques minutes et offrent de nombreuses animations avec plus de boutiques et de restaurants. Université de Puget Sound, zoo et aquarium de Pt Defiance, centre-ville de Tacoma, pont de Tacoma Narrows et plusieurs parcs,

The hosts thought of everything- anything I needed was there and personalized. They checked in on my arrival because there was extra traffic in the neighborhood. All instructions were clear and readily available. Everything was clean and sanitized. It was private and welcoming.

When we visit again ..this will be where we stay. Very nice accommodations, friendly hosts, anything needed was provided. We stayed for a week. Home away from home! Bus line close to get around just all in all a wonderful unforgettable experience!

This property was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Beth was very helpful and provided clear written instructions for the check out process as well as a booklet with local information. There was off-street parking with a security camera, a nice yard with comfortable patio furniture. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent in all respects. My partner, Beth Evans, reserved the property for me so that my compromised immune system wouldn’t be threatened by 5 houseguests from out of town, including 3 little kids. I spent days out of doors with our visitors at home and nights at the “Hidden Gem,” only 2.5 miles away. It worked out great!

Home away from home!

We stayed at the house while in town for our granddaughters 1st birthday. We entertained our family, watched movies and had fun as if we were at home. The house was warm and inviting. The bed was comfortable. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything

UPS Commencement Weekend

Great location for the weekend of our daughter’s graduation from UPS. We had activities on Friday, Saturday, and the ceremony on Sunday so the property was close enough we could go back and forth as needed to catch our breath between events. We did have a car and parking in back was easy. I also was able to prepare a simple celebration brunch for five people the morning of graduation. Not a party, but plenty of room for a pretty table set with paper plates I brought. Lots of prepped food and ingredients at nearby grocers. Just a lovely experience

Really cute place

Very comfortable and cozy. Was helping my daughter pack up her college dorm room so appreciated the carport to shelter my pickup bed. Wasn’t there long enough to enjoy amenities too much but having a half dozen eggs and sausage was a nice touch. Hope to stay here again soon!

Work accommodations

Beth was very friendly and welcoming. The house was spotless. We had everything we needed to cook and stay there for the four nights. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, and pans. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. He pull out bed that I slept in was probably the most comfortable bed ever. We had a very good experience. Don’t pass this listing up.

Jim is the craftsman who transformed this space into a beautiful daylight basement apartment. It is a charming cozy space created just for you. Jim's day job is working for a local candy company. He is originally from Denver, CO and moved to WA 2 years after marrying Beth. They have been married for over 30 years.
Beth decorated the apartment which includes stunning photographs of local sites, taken by Christopher Petrich. She loves meeting new people so hosting a VRBO apartment is a great way to do just that. She is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and has been an interpreter for several years. She grew up in Evergreen, CO.
Jim and Beth love dogs and currently have a German Shepherd.

We chose our home because we fell in love with the Proctor District in Tacoma, WA. Everything we need is right walking distance. Just about anywhere we go by car we can see the water. Puget Sound surrounds the tip of Tacoma and is a peaceful site we are blessed to see on a daily basis.

When we bought this house we knew that some day this space would become an apartment. We originally thought our daughter with special needs would live there to be close to us, but that is no longer the need. She is an adult now and living with assistance in her home. This space is now available for you!

Peace and quiet is one of the unique benefits of living in this area. The beauty that surrounds us instills tranquility.
