The city of Medellin is the second most important in Colombia, located in the region of Antioquia, known for its spring climate. It is an extremely dynamic city that is experiencing remarkable and sustainable development in the field of transport (metro and cable car) and construction. The apartment is very quiet and is located in the most residential and attractive neighborhood; the Poblado neighborhood. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WHEN YOU RENT FOR A LONG PERIOD IS THE NEIGHBORHOOD and in the case of the apartment it is located close to everything you need and without taking your car. When you leave the building you are not among luxury buildings with nothing around, but in an area with shops, restaurants, bars etc ... The apartment is on the fifth floor of a small seven-story building with elevator and high security with guards 24 hours a day. The apartment is 120 square meters with a balcony and consists of a large living room of 55 square meters with an office area and an open kitchen; two large bedrooms, two bathrooms with toilet and a room adjoining the kitchen, used as a laundry room and equipped with a washing machine and dryer.

The apartment was completely renovated and restructured in 2008, in a European style with large bay windows letting in plenty of light and sun. The bedding consists of two double beds, one 180cm and the other 140cm. The kitchen is fully equipped with a central island. Internet access and 2 televisions, one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom with two hundred channels are included.

The atmosphere of the apartment and the location of the building in a very pleasant neighborhood make it the ideal place to live or a haven of peace to discover Medellin, or to go out after work, in complete safety, and go relax, enjoying a glass of aguardiente, rum or a margarita lulled by salsa rhythms.

Spacious and airy in an excellent location

First off, the location of the property within Poblado is perfect. Less than five minutes to walk to Parque Lleras, and a pretty easy walk to the Milla de Oro and Oviedo and Santa Fe malls. About a 20 minute walk to the Poblado metro station, but no serious hills to contend with. The apartment is very open and spacious, and pretty well-equipped, although a few things were noticeably absent including paper towels, dish soap, and cleaning supplies. We stayed two weeks and would not want to stay longer without a cleaning person to come periodically. Despite the proximity to the "Zona Rosa" area of Parque Lleras, the apartment is very tranquil with only minimal sounds from cars on the street. Easy and comfortable to sleep with the windows open. Wifi was a bit slow at 5MBPS, but decent enough to work online and stream Netflix. The porteros (doormen) were all super-friendly and patient with our intermediate-level Spanish.
