Great Stay !

I was visiting my son at the University of Arizona and it was the perfect place to stay. It’s about a 30 minute walk to campus and a short walk to restaurants and grocery stores in the neighborhood. I will definitely return!

Bike friendly neighborhood

Comfortable bed, lots of hot water in bathroom and kitchen, two independent heat & air units, great location for biking and walking. Host was very helpful.

Pleasant stay

BlenElm guest house worked well for my quick weekend stay. It is conveniently located to the university and a 20 minute walk away. Restaurants and shops were not far for a quick drive. It was quiet and private. I enjoyed the accommodations especially the comfortable bed and heating unit. It got cold the two nights I was there. Nice big tv and coffeemaker. Sponsor was kind enough to greet me when I arrived. I recommend some floor rugs for safety and warmth on cool nights and early mornings. I would stay again!

Great place - quite and private. It was nice to see lemons on the trees and a small garden growing. Loved the fact that no one came into the room as maid service but there were extra towels and bedding if needed which gave it a home style feel, was there on a buying trip and my stuff was safe left in the room. The bed could be up graded to a taller bed. I would like a standard table and chairs in kitchen. Would stay there again Would love to stay there again if the dates are open.

Could Have Been So Much Better

Place smelled bad, very low water pressure in shower, water got cold quickly, dirty stove,stained sheets, stained mattress pad, mold on shower curtain, only 1 washcloth, very little flatware and dishes, no towel rack in bathroom, dirty wood blinds, very few channels available on TV. Would not stay there again.

Confortable place in a perfect neighborhood

Check-in was smooth. The landlord are very kind and helpful. The place is confortable (bed, bathroom), etc) and would be perfect if additional storage could be available (for long stay). The neighborhood is perfect with many stores/restaurants around.

Positive visit

We arrived at the property located close to the University with plenty of shopping opportunities. Check in was easy and we met the host who was very accommodating. The detached unit was clean and inviting. Our host was helpful and friendly. We were there when it was time to harvest the garden and we were provided with all the greens that we could eat. We had a smooth and pleasant visit and appreciated the kindness of our host. We would stay there again if we decide to return to Tucson.

Property was clean, bed was excellent and comfortable.

Owners were receptive, helpful and very kind. Very comfortable King bed. Lovely tiled shower. Good location, midtown Lighting Poor in kitchen. Ceiling fan with dull light. NO luggage racks, so ? Where to place suitcases except on floor. No dishwasher so we had to wash silverware and dishes by hand, and since they were few, we washed by hand nearly every meal. The one BR towel holder was broken off, so shortage of place to towels.

Great location, great host

Kai's property is centrally located and was just about perfect for us as we like to walk a lot. She was a very gracious host and responded quickly to any questions or concerns, but otherwise left us to ourselves. The place is not large, but was certainly sufficient for us. Our only concern was that there was no running hot water in the kitchen sink (there is in the bathroom). Kai told us she plans to get this fixed soon. We would stay here again when we return to Tucson, as I'm fairly sure we will.

The house is in a great location which is centrally located in a nice neighborhood. It is very clean

We loved the location in a nice central neighborhood in Tucson. The space is small which is clear in the photos. It could use more and better furniture. In the LR/Kitchen there is only one small couch. We brought a small folding table and a comfortable folding chair. The chairs by the kitchen table were tall benches with no backs so using that table for working on the computer was not comfortable. The homeowners were friendly and helpful and we were able to use their driveway to park our car. They also offered the use of their washing machine.
