This house has both the feel of a French country farmhouse and pied-a-terre in town. Children's laughter echoes down from the primary school up on the ramparts above, punctuated by lovely birdsong and the busy ducks on the lazy river below.
The views from our property are some of the most photographed scenes in all of Burgundy. The visual beauty is stunning and inexhaustible!
A few steps along the river brings you to our cloistered vineyard, fruit orchard and garden, where you can enjoy quiet meals from our patio with stunning tower views.
During the summer months, there are weekly festivals in town as well as wine events at local wineries in the fall. The town has an historic Italianate Theatre, which hosts musical concerts and other events throughout the year.
The town is well situated for wine and cheese tasting day trips, and there is huge freshwater lake and beach nearby for swimming and boating.
