Charme rustique avec tout le confort de la maison. Ces cabines sont directement sur l'eau et offrent des vues d'un million de dollars. Les deux cabines ont été récemment mises à jour mais ont toujours cette fusée éclairante. Vous pouvez pêcher, nager et simplement profiter des eaux cristallines du lac Little Portage. Les loisirs nautiques à gogo et la beauté des bois sont à couper le souffle. Portage Point offre des vacances inoubliables!

Property had most of what you need, but had to bring our own bath towels. Early check out surprised us! Overall, lovely stay on a peaceful lake.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was to far from trying to do things in other parts of Northern WI. 30 minute drive to get ice cream, walk around Eagle Rive, etc. It's fine if you plan to stay at the rental & not go any where.

Portage point review

The location was great and the cabin was very clean when we arrived. There were a few disappointing aspects though … 1. The refrigerator was not plugged in properly when we got there, so we had to plug it in to a working outlet and wait for it to get cold . The water heater was not on when we checked in so had to figure out how to turn that on and wait for it to heat up. The dock on the lake was next to impossible to walk or stand on due to the tremendous amount of goose poop on the dock. The last night we were there it dropped into the high 30s and became very cold at night and we couldn’t figure out how to work the thermostat to turn the heat on also the Wi-Fi would work for ten -15 min and then kick you off then come back on, this was constant throughout the trip …overall for the $ we payed for 4 nights I don’t think I would rent the same cabin next year..

Great cabin, communication and photos need some attention

This cabin is quite nice, it checks all the boxes if you're looking for a place to relax and decompress. Four people would be very comfortable here. It was refreshing to stay in a place that wasn't dominated by televisions or trophy taxidermy. The kitchen is also quite roomy but missing a few basic items such as a cookie sheet, pizza pan, and spatula for pancakes or flipping burgers. There's also ceiling fans in almost all the rooms which I'm sure would be wonderful in summer. Something I wish I knew before booking was that the photos of the exterior are actually a space shared with another cabin that's very close by. The exterior of the cabin you are booking is not shown in any of the photos. Finishing up we did have a bit of miscommunication with the management company. We were supplied with an outdated code to get in the door, fortunately the management company responded quickly with the updated code. I was also told there was a gas grill on site when in fact it was a charcoal grill, luckily we noticed before preparing a meal and the food market was still open to buy some charcoal and lighter fluid. Perhaps most importantly is we were informed only after booking that we were would be required to bring our own bathroom towels and washcloths. We're also only provided one role of toilet paper and one garbage bag for a 6-day stay lol! In short this is a great place, the management just needs to up there game to the standard verbo gusts are accustomed to.

Beautiful waterfront cabin

Ideal place to get away and experience nature with your spouse, friends or family. Lake and surrounding area had the perfect up north feel. Would absolutely go again!
