It was just as described. A finished basement with enough beds to accommodate my family on our trip. As a bonus, there were books, games and puzzles available, as well as some other extras that made it feel more like a home instead of just another place to sleep. GREAT view of Pikes Peak from the entry!

Beautiful rural setting

Great place to stay. Had everything we needed. It was nice to come home and relax after the hustle and bustle of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. Will book again when in the area.

This worked well for us- plenty of space for 4adults, plus full kitchen and washer & dryer. We really only needed a place to sleep but it seems this place had more to offer - games, books, projector. Good communication with the hosts.

Great stay!

Spacious suite that was exactly as advertised. Owners pulled out all of the stops remembering just about every incidental thing you may have forgotten and providing. There were even toys for the kids and an Atari.

The Mountain View is even better than pictures can show! The Vogels are gracious and generous hosts who have really thought of everything. The beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. Five stars all the way!

We loved the owners, the area and all the activities surrounding this beautiful place! We had the best time and this was the perfect stay for us. Plenty of toys and books for the kiddo for the time we were there and all the extras that were kept around the house were a blessing. So glad we chose this as our place for the week! This was the most accommodating place I’ve ever stayed. We had everything we needed and then some. The place was extremely clean and cozy. And the view!!!! So beautiful to see pikes peak while washing dishes.

Great Place for Families

We had a wonderful stay. My family really appreciated that it was geared towards families with young children. The crib, diaper changer (with diapers!) and the toys were extemely helpful and made our stay more relaxing. The views were amazing and the hosts made several recomendations for restaurants that all turned out to be great. Everything was very clean and they had everything we needed. Thanks again for a much needed relaxing week in the mountains.

Lovely place, lovely view, beyond happy with everything.

The hosts really thought of everything we could possibly need. It's a very cozy place and the pictures don't do it justice. Hosts replied quickly every time I had a question. Very very clean. Will definitely book again if we're ever in the area.

Beautiful view

We had a wonderful time the house was well stocked with everything, from toys to books to the kitchen and bathroom. The owners were very quick to help with anything we needed and checked in on us during the blizzard. Definitely perfect for a couple or a family. We will keep this non our list of places to come visit again.

Home away from home!

This place is amazing. Our top favorite place to stay in all of our life. Would definitely come back if we are ever out this way again. They had everything we needed. We were able to cook all week and save on food costs. They had lots of extras in case someone forgets something. My kids loved the toys and video options. The tether ball outside was fun. Communication was prompt and check in was super easy. Truly a home away from home!
