Welcome to my quiet, residential four-bedroom + office home in Huntington Beach! Located just a few blocks from the beach, it offers a perfect retreat for your vacation in Surf City, California.

The master bedroom boasts a comfortable California king bed and an attached bathroom for convenience. Three additional bedrooms are equipped with new mattresses to ensure a restful night's sleep. The office is equipped with an air mattress. With a sample space, my home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests.

You'll find everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to prepare delicious meals during your stay. Step outside to the large yard, featuring a lush green lawn, BBQ, and brick patio, perfect for enjoying the beautiful California weather.

Rest assured, my home is fully stocked, making it easy for you to unwind and relax. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or an extended vacation, I've made sure you'll have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Family Get Away Part One

We had an amazing family weekend and this home was such a big part of it. Everything was exactly as advertised. John is a responsive and great host. I had seen prior to our visit that a previous guest had posted there was no air conditioning. You don’t need it. I lived by the beach for 5 years and the vast majority of homes do not have AC. The ocean breeze is natures AC We enjoyed our experience so much I rebooked in two weeks from now with Family Get Away Part Two! Thank you John!

The house and its layout was pretty nice and accommodated our family well.The location was within 3/4 of a mile to the ocean and we could ride our bikes there.The property manager/owner tried to be accommodating but fell short on a few things.I guess we’re spoiled with other properties that we’ve rented but usually you get a welcome email about house rules, key codes or entry access and WiFi but we had to ask for all of those things.The sprinklers came on every morning twice (6am and 9am) and flooded both the front and backyard and kept us from enjoying the outside of the property.One of the main issues we had was there were way too many cameras (we counted at least 7) around the outside eaves of the house.We wondered if there was some issues with the neighborhood or maybe past renters but regardless it made us feel very uncomfortable.

Very good stay for family

The 4 of us stayed at this property for 6 nights. It was a great location that was convenient to everything in Huntington Beach. The house was well appointed. The only downside, which i did not realize, is that the house had no air conditioning. There were a couple days that were pretty warm so the house was warm at night, even with the fans and windows open. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay.

One of our favorite things is how close we are to the beach, nearby park, shops, restaurants, or downtown Huntington Beach, yet the neighborhood itself stays quiet and relaxing.

Morning walks are filled with the sounds of birds and fresh air, and in the evening, it’s the perfect place to unwind.

Our property stands out for its lush, beautiful yard filled with a variety of organic fruit trees and herbs you won’t often find in a typical rental. Guests can pick fresh peaches, oranges, lemons, mangoes, apricots, and even blackberries right from the garden. We also grow lemon grass and many other fresh herbs, perfect for cooking or making soothing teas. It’s like having your own private farmer’s market right outside your door—a truly peaceful and refreshing experience.
