Inlet Point Villas - 2A

The condo did not disappoint. It was nice and clean. Perfect space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. I was not aware that I was renting from resort rental company instead of the actual owner, but Grand Strand Resort was great to work with. Check in was easy. They even had the condo ready early and let me know. Very pleased.

Needs some chairs in living room

Property needs updating in living room area. Only 2 long sofas facing each other and no chairs! Needs chairs instead of the extra sofa. One extremely low cost update would be new hand held shower heads.

Great Location

We always love staying at Inlet Point. The location is perfect. The condo was great. First floor. I found that the cost was very pricey. There were so many fees that appeared to be doubled in some cases. This is not through an individual but through an agency. I think that may have added on cost. We were charge above and beyond on the cleaning fee but found a diaper under a bed. The condo was not as clean as we would expect at that cost. But we didn’t let it mess up our vacay. It was great until Hurricane Ian.

It's all about the location

Great location with views of both the inlet and the ocean from the back balcony. 2 bedrooms, 1 with twin beds, and 2 bathrooms, ideal for a family of four. Appreciated the washer and dryer! Nice pool and tennis courts on site. Ideal getaway for a week or long weekend.

Up Grade

The condo was nice. But the beds were very hard. I feel it needs to be updated. The couch was very old and hard. The recliner was in pretty rough shape and would not recline. The kitchen was very clean. I enjoyed having a washing machine. The view was great.

This place needs updated

The view was worth every penny but the apartment was dated and had lots of water bugs and some roaches. I knew this was an old facility but it really, really needs updated. The rooms were musty and if I had serious allergies I would have suffered severely. I requested to move but it would have cost me more money and no view of the ocean. I stayed but had to have an air purifier brought in and later in the week someone was sent to spray the apartment for bugs.

Dissatisfaction

refrigerator and sliding glass doors not function properly sofa bed was missing mattress key card did not work rugs were dirty porch not swept outside furniture broken pool not opened dryer did not function correctly. the agency did address issues but we should not have found it in such disrepair. I have stayed at Inlet point since 1993 and have never encounter anything like this. I understand updates but I feel no one look over this unit before we arrived to make sure it was in working order.

My favorite place to stay.

I love the area, the fishing, sun, sand and being close to everything. I feel this is my home away from home and I miss it the moment I drive away. The only disappointment was the pool not being open due to Covid-19 and only having one gate key card this year. I would suggest providing 2 gate key cards for the ease of the renters.

great location, needs updating

We have stayed many times in this resort but not this unit. We accept that many of the units need to be updated but are worth it because of the location. This unit is in major need of repair. The floors in both bathrooms feel like you are going to step through them. The sofas are so worn that you sink to the floor. The recliner is broken. The hoses on the washing machine are on wrong - cold/hot. There were no pillows on the beds. The mattresses are worn. The kitchen cabinets are full of junk and need to be cleaned out. We saw numerous dead bugs and several live ones. We will not stay in this unit again and would not recommend it to anyone else.
