Great stay

lovely spot under the mountains and close to the river. It was clean and quiet at night, and we enjoyed sitting next to the fire and watching the stars at night.

Amazing

We stayed in the Riverbend cabin for 2 nights, host was very friendly and welcoming! Our stay was amazing overall, would definitely recommend!

Quiet and Relaxing Place for a Fishing TripThis is my third stay at Riverbend and hope to be back again. Nothing more relaxing then putting a salmon fillet on the grill and relaxing at the porch table with a glass of wine after a day on the river!

Guesthouse in the Country

The guesthouse is very close to the main house but we never had any noise issues at all. It was clean and comfortable for our stay. The host is very personable and was keen on ensuring we enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful

So peaceful, beautiful woodsy area. Close and easy access to get into town. Quiet place to be close to river and trails to get away from things.

Cabin getaway

I loved the cabin specially all the furniture it was amazing all hand made, sparkling clean and really good location close to parks, river, and lake. Jessica is an amazing host ! Her husband and her little kid provide us with wood for bonfire at night ❤️ I will definitely go back ! I totally recommend this place.

Beautiful but different

The place is well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It is located in the backyard of the property which was not what we expected. Having said this, it was quiet and private. (Not quite the same as being on a separate property). If that isn’t a concern for you this is a beautiful get away spot. Bed comfortable and towels soft.

Thank you for staying with us. I encourage people to read the listing when they book, as you would have seen this in the listing and understood what you were booking: "This cozy BC cabin sleeps up to 4 people although there is also a guest house (also on VRBO) that can sleep and additional 6 people (can be rented together) for a total of 10 people. The cabin is detached and about 25 feet from the house and the guest house is the mainfloor of the house on the property." Had you read the listing you would not have been surprised. It is all available information in the details of the listing, it just requires that people booking read it :) To have a cabin on a private piece of property in this area would would have cost a lot more, just as a heads up :) Glad you were able to enjoy your weekend away.

Charming

Everything was as advertised. Very good attention to detail. Unfortunately, we stayed when it was really hot and there is no a/c. Owner provided a couple of fans which helped. If a/c was added I would give it 5 stars. Just note that its about 25 k from central Chilliwack but a very pretty drive along the Chilliwack river.

Thank you for staying with us. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We don't advertise having A/C and we keep our rates well below average rates mostly because we want to be affordable for folks but also because we don't have A/C. We may install one next year and the prices would end up needing to be raised accordingly. We are 10 minutes to Sardis, 15 minutes to Cultus lake, 25 minutes to Chilliwack Lake and about 20-25 minutes to downtown Chilliwack. I always recommend using google maps before booking to ensure that our property is where guests need it to be for their stay. Glad you enjoyed your stay :)

Love that it's quieter than hotels!

We love how it's an out of the way place, so peaceful, relaxing & rejuvenating! The cabin is cozy & comfy! We also love that it has Netflix & Dvd's

Thank you, to Jessica & Jay. From Joan & Norm. Enjoyed meeting you. The cabin was perfect for us. We had everything we needed. The bed very comfy and the cabin very clean. The area is so beautiful. Your property is so well kept. The area is extremely quiet no traffic noise. Loved it. We will certainly book and stay again as we will be out for visits.Do you book long stays? Have elderly friends that like to go away for 3 months in the winter!

Lovely stay

Jess is a very wonderful hostess, super welcoming and friendly. The cabin was comfortable and set in a location very close to the Chilliwack River near beautiful walking trails and scenery. Thank you Jess, Jay and Chase!
