My wife and I have been enjoying the cottages for a few years now. Whenever we get the chance to get away for a long weekend, this is our go to place. Always extremely clean and well kept. Everything always works with no issues. Peter and Gail are great hosts and are very responsive if any questions arise. If you're looking for the perfect little spot to get away, don't miss this place, it's perfect Thank you again Peter and Gail for another amazing stay at Hillside Cottages

Great Stay !!

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Location was perfect for us as we were there for a dogsledding trip nearby. Really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owner, who brought balloons to the cabin for my wife on Valentine’s Day. This is a great place to stay if you are in the area.

Great price, beautiful cottage & location

We can't wait to return to this place, so welcoming and beautiful outside. Inside is the perfect size and the jet tub was incredible, slept amazing after soaking in it before bed. Great binder with local attractions and mind blowing restaurants.

Wonderful stay

We stayed here for a wedding and it was perfect! Plenty of space and a great kitchen. We didn’t cook but it had everything you would need. Would definitely book this again, especially for the complimentary shots of scotch and the biscuits.

Lovely place to stay!

My partner and I stayed 2 nights as a little getaway and LOVED this property. The cleanliness exceeded our expectations and it was well stocked with necessities. The location is easy to get to and everything we wanted to do was only 5 minutes away. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had and check in was simple. We plan on coming back in the future!

Short winter vacation

Tranquil get away

This quiet, cozy cottage tucked away in the hillside was the perfect get away for my husband and I. The cottage was immaculate, bright and perfectly stocked with ammenities. Peter and Gail were the perfect hosts, readily available if needed. I would highly recommend staying at Hillside Cottages.

Nice cottage for the 2 of us. Not too big and not too small. Hot tub was nice. It was a little oddly shaped but felt nice at the end of the day. Overall, it was a very nice weekend.

Cozy Get Away

Very clean, comfortable, well maintained cottage! The cottage is just off the road so there is some noise from there. Otherwise it feels so remote in the trees on the side of the mountain.There are only a few cabins in the area so you have plenty of privacy.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

Booked as a last minute get away space for my partner and I because we wanted to go snow shoeing up in Maine. The location was perfect, with plenty of trails and other things to do near by! It snowed during our stay but the owners took time to plow and sand so there were no issues accessing or leaving the property. Overall the space was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for!

Perfect secluded getaway!

Me and my boyfriend rented this cottage for our anniversary trip last week. Though the steep hill is intimidating as you first pull into the property, Peter gave us specific directions as to which cottage is ours aside from the little flags marking each one. The place was very cozy and perfectly equipped with everything from kitchen tools to plenty of info on different things to do in the area. The jacuzzi was very relaxing and worked! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and we are already planning to go back next year!
