Sunglow Retreat Comté de Cochise

Sunglow Retreat, niché au pied des montagnes de Chiracahua, à une altitude de 600 mètres. Profitez de l'observation des étoiles loin des lumières des villes ou des maisons.

Notre maison d'hôtes est située sur Cottonwood Creek, qui fonctionne en saison. Parcourez des chênes à feuilles persistantes, des genévriers, des sycomores et parcourez des kilomètres à la ronde en profitant des nombreuses espèces fauniques telles que le cerf et le dindon sauvage. Profitez de regarder nos quatre chevaux de sauvetage et Frijole, notre âne résident.

Ce secteur particulier est bien connu des ornithologues amateurs.

Une spacieuse maison d'hôtes privée avec deux grands patios pour profiter de la vue imprenable et des couchers de soleil.

Nous vivons sur la propriété (dans une maison séparée) et sommes disponibles pour être contacté à tout moment.

The house was lovely with a great view of the mountains. It was clean inside and out, and had lots of outside seating, which we enjoyed. The kitchen was well equipped too. The hosts were responsive and helpful. It was a quiet and peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. And it is approx. 40 minutes from the entrance to the beautiful Chiricahua National Monument, where we spent two great days hiking. There was only one negative: Fragrance from laundry products in the sheets and towels, which was quite strong and bothered us. So if you are sensitive to fragrances, be sure to tell the hosts.

Love this place! Beautiful setting, quiet, peaceful. Lots of birds. House is lovely, fully furnished. Comfy bed, full kitchen. Easy access to Chiricahua, a must see. Johnny Ringo's grave is less than a mile away, check it out. Rob & Sharon are wonderful hosts! Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and history. And great to talk to. Everything was great. Peace, quiet, turkeys

The hosts Rob and Sharon were fantastic and greeted us warmly. They’d offered to take care of anything if we needed it but the property was well furnished, well stocked, and had everything we needed to relax. If you’re looking for a place to get away, enjoy quiet, and watch the stars then this is an excellent choice. Just be sure you’re planning to drive as you’re truly away from it all!

Fabulous guest house accommodations!

Excellent hosts and a perfect house for our party of 5. We were greeted with wine, homemade bread and fresh eggs upon arrival. Great access to Chiricahua, Fort Bowie, Coronado National Memorial, Tombstone, and Bisbee or just stay here and enjoy the view from the two lovely outdoor spaces. Wild deer, turkeys, and hummingbirds along with the resident horses, mule and donkey made for a wonderful, relaxing retreat!

Enjoyable second visit

This was our second stay at this property in as many months. This is truly an oasis in the high desert. Great place to hang out with friends and to enjoy some local wine and dinner on the patio. Views are stunning, great star gazing and a monsoon lightning show. The house itself is very comfortable and has everything you need. We know we’ll be back for a 3rd visit.

Paradise!

We celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary at Sunglow Retreat and it was spectacular! We cannot recommend it highly enough. Close to the Chiricahua National Monument for easy access to the hiking trails, peaceful, quiet and beautiful. Rob & Sharon were helpful, responsive to all my questions and a joy to meet and talk with during our stay. If you're looking to unplug, relax and rejuvenate stay here!

Exceptional!

The Sunglow Retreat is truly an amazing place. Hosts Rob and Sharon did everything right for their guests. Their cottage has all you need for a home away from home feel. It is nestled in a quiet and peaceful area with incredible views. It is a magical place with nature and wildlife all around. They are thoughtful, warm-hearted and friendly people. Just what we were looking for

Fascinating location- nicely set up house with everything we needed including lots of local information, fresh eggs, banana cake and local wine. Comfy beds. Very clean. Lots of turkeys and mule deer. Close to Chiricahua Nat Monument- a must, We also visited the Willcox playa, the ghost town trail, not far to Whitewater Draw (a birding must) and Tombstone. Good hiking.

Thanksgiving with 48 turkeys!

This is a lovely, quiet place to spend time, with great access to all the wonders of the Chiricahuas. We had heard there were wild turkeys but actually counted 48 this morning! Amazing. House is really tastefully decorated, well maintained, has everything you need in the kitchen. Master bedrooms are separated by the living room which was great for us. Highly recommend!

Slice of paradise

If you are looking to get away from the city hubbub but still want all of the comforts of home, this is the place. Very comfortable home with all of the amenities like good Wi-Fi, tv, coffee provided, as well as a bottle of local wine, eggs and homemade banana bread. Sharon and Rob were so accommodating. Plus, if you love nature, you will enjoy seeing many deer, turkey, and javelina every day. And you must meet Frijoles, the rescue donkey. He’s a hoot!
