HomeVery accommodating, kitchen well stocked with utensils, pan, dishes. Very clean, different areas for quiet time if needed. Well insulated from sounds from teens! Nice area for shoppingAnd walksTo town and beach. Pool great! Bring a blow dryer, your own beach towels.

end of summer family get away

we had an enjoyable visit to duck with the whole family, our granddaughter went to the beach fir the first time. she was heaitant about the sand and water but enjoyed the attention and pop up tent. the pool was a hit for all and the adults loved the hot tub. grilling was easy and the location to the beach, the tien of Duck and shipping were great. We would llove to come bsck

Very nice, well-equipped house in an excellent location. Good living space. Couple of hundred yards to a lovely ocean beach (description says no beach chairs or umbrella, but they were there). Pool was clean, good sized, and stocked with pool toys. Gas Grill not especially large but worked well. Furniture was reasonably 'fresh.' "Downtown" Duck is very close. It's 32 steps to the main level, but worth the climb!

Great week at the beach

Overall this was a great property. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us to spread out. The kitchen and living area is on the top floor (3 flights of stairs). We had grandparents and that was occasionally a lot for them. The only way to get to the pool was from the ground floor which was not ideal. Again, overall it was a great stay and would recommend it to others.

We were very pleased at check in. This home has a great layout, is well stocked and clean at first sight.Day 5 the dryer broke. We reported the next morning to rental company. I called back 24 hours later for follow up when I was told they were having difficulty getting a response from the home owner. With a house full of 8 people and 2 loads of wet laundry you can imagine the backlog. The owner ended up not wanting to replace the broken belt and planned to replace the entire machine in the future.Rental company ended up picking up our laundry and taking care of it at their office. They returned it later that evening. However my favorite black tee shirt dress is missing. I discovered that once we returned home.We also reported the following: slow drain in 2nd floor bathroom and black mold on shower curtain. We have video/photo of both.Garbage disposal had a label over sink to use it sparingly since it is on septic line.I had to wrestle a spoon that previous renters left in it. When I clipped the switch, nothing happened.I reported all of the above with no response from rental property. Private pool had sand around inside of stairs in shallow end upon arrival. Hot tub had water spraying across in arc do half of it was not useable.It is a shame because this property is in a great location and looks wonderful but needs maintenance immediately.

A wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Duck at Sea -U-Later. The home was lovely with plenty of room for 5 young boys! Our arrival was seamless and the home was well cleaned and organized. The kitchen is well stocked. The pool and hot tub were put to good use! The walk to the beach was easy. We were there during Hurricane Debby but still managed plenty of pool and beach time. Great location with private backyard

Great house, everything was well thought out and the decor was great. Best part was the back yard/pool. With the trees, you felt secluded. Did not feel as if the neighbors were right on top of you. Trees creTed lots of privacy. Short walk to the beach. Would stay again.

Just a few things to check on before your next rental. There is a mold like odor in a few areas .The kitchen both corner rotating shelves. The extractor fan in the first level master bedroom. Water draining slow from sink in the wash room area. Knob on the cabinet door in wash room. We thoroughly enjoyed the home we would do it again Thank you
