Pat's Place - Cottage paisible et charmant

Ce chalet paisible et calme sur Greenlaw Cove a un plan d'étage ouvert et des murs en pin ajoutant chaleur et confort à votre séjour. Une porte coulissante en verre s'ouvre sur le pont enveloppant surplombant Greenlaw Cove. Deux chambres (queen et pleine) et 2 salles de bain sont au rez-de-chaussée. L'étage supérieur spacieux dispose de 2 lits jumeaux et constitue également une bonne aire de jeux pour les enfants. La pelouse arrière spacieuse offre le soleil et l'ombre avec de nombreux sièges en plein air - parfait pour regarder les oiseaux aller et venir vers les mangeoires et les colibris appréciant les plantes à fleurs. Il y a un accès facile à la plage pour explorer à marée basse ou pour lancer un bateau à marée haute. L'escapade parfaite! Les chiens propres et bien élevés avec des propriétaires responsables sont les bienvenus, mais aucun chat en tant que propriétaire n'est allergique.

Was a pleasant home, fully equipped, all new appliances and kitchen ware, very comfortable and very clean. Large yard and beachfront. Would be good for families. Several beaches to enjoy close by. Quiet and peaceful. Large deck to watch the tide and flock of hummingbirds.

Pat's Place Vaca

Pat's Place was an ideal location for our vacation in Maine. It's located on a beautiful private cove. The house was extraordinarily clean and the owners were so responsive. Local restaurants and cafes in Stonington were wonderful. Distance to Acadia is just over an hour. We highly recommend Pat's Place, a place that feels like your family camp.

Heaven on Earth

This was such a treat to be where the forest meets the ocean. We were mesmerized with the ebbing and flow tide - exposing huge rocks in the water as the tide went out. Really just magical. We also logged over 70+ species of birds on this property. Just an awesome place.

Seafood Delight

The house was beautiful, spacious and very well maintained. We had lotsif room, peace and quiet. We were close to seafood restaurants and fish markets. Ate our fill of lobster, scallops, Haddock. Cooked at the house and ate at restaurants. Perfect place to do both.

Maine at it's best

This house offers everything you could want for coastal Maine. The house is very clean, comfortably yet thoughtfully decorated. You can sit on the deck or in the yard and watch the tide go in and out. The rental kayaks allowed us to experience the island and the bay. We brought our bikes and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Deer Isle and neighboring communities. Hope to return!

We loved Pat’s Place

We loved staying at Pat’s place. It was myself, my husband and my two 10 year children, oh and our 1 year old pup. The view is beautiful. The house was spotless and fully stocked. The town is quiet and not touristy. We did multiple hikes on the island. And did a day trip to Acadia twice. We also enjoyed taking a boat ride from Stonington to see seals and hike green island. We had a beautiful stay and would recommend Pat’s Place to anyone who wants to have a reconnecting, quiet and beautiful trip that is close enough to Acadia if wanted.

Coastal Charmer

This home is a gem peacefully nestled in Greenlaw Cove. The seclusion made for a relaxing vacation. With no one around, the dogs were able to run and play in the yard unleashed. The visit became particularly interesting when a freakish windstorm blew in the Friday before Christmas. The electricity on the island went out for a day or so. Thankfully, the home had a generator. The owners were very responsive to all inquiries and even made a special trip to check on us following the storm. I highly recommend this location to escape the pressures of life.

Wonderful House & Location

Home was delightful and right on the water. Quiet stay, and dogs permitted. Great restaurants and beaches to check out in Stonington. First week in October was beautiful with leaves in color!

Clean, comfortable and well stocked

We had a wonderful stay at Pat’s place! The pics on VRBO should be updated because a lot of updates have been made! New appliances, all the pots, pans, knives, glassware etc. you’d ever need! Updated furniture and a big dining room table. We were very comfortable for a 2 week stay. The house even has a full house generator. We didn’t need it but it was reassuring as hurricane Fiona was generating high winds. Deer island is absolutely beautiful! The owners were so friendly and responsive. We would not hesitate to stay at Pat’s Place again!!

Relaxing escape

The property was even more beautiful than the listing showed. Very spacious, nice sized bedrooms and baths. Could use a new mattress on the queen bed. Beautiful deck with an amazingly gorgeous view of the cove. If you love nature and you just want to relax, take a few hikes, swim, kayak or canoe with friends/family this is the place.

Beautiful & relax

For our first time in Maine, this cabin was beautiful! Comfortable. Amazing views of the cove. We had fun watching fisherman digging for clams. The area was very nice, we run a few miles around the neighborhood. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park wore the highlight of the trip. One thing I would caution is that the house address does not register in GPS. So we were lost at arrival, but there is a street Papas Pl. coordinate was our savior! All in all, we had a wonderful relaxing time! :)

The hardest part was identifying Sunshine Rd as we were arriving! After that, it was a great visit and a perfect site for us.

Relaxing, scenic getaway

This home has been lovingly cared for by the family in whose hands it has long been entrusted. We found it comfortable, clean and well-equipped, and enjoyed its scenic seclusion. The devoted clammer in the cove onto which it fronted whistled while he worked, even though we can't imagine his back not aching. Deer Isle is a treasure, and we appreciated being so close to Stonington (where we bought lobsters off the boat at the co-op), Goose Cove (wonderful trails and an amazing restaurant, Aragosta), and, of course, Nervous Nellie's (inexplicably worth a visit). Thanks for a very nice stay!
