Maison familiale de caractère sur 10 hectares sans aucun vis à vis avec 7 chambres et 14 couchages, organisé de la façon suivante : 5 lits doubles et 4 lits Simples L'ensemble avec 4 salles de bains. La maison à une piscine chauffée et un terrain de tennis ainsi qu'un terrain de boules. Pour les soirées billard américain, babyfoot, 2 salons, une table de salle à mangé pour 14 personnes. Un garage avec lave linge et sèche linge. Barbecue disponible. Cuisine équipée lave vaisselle. A 3km du golf de Bellême. belles prestations et décoration très soignée. possibilité de femme de ménage. La maison comprend toute la vaisselle, ainsi que les serviettes de toilettes et les serviettes de piscine. La région est très connue pour les brocantes et les vides greniers. Beaucoup de possibilités de pistes de vélo et vtt au départ de la maison.

Fantastic house for families

We were 3 families, fantastic house, kids and adults loved the pool and tennis court outside. Inside the house was very comfortable the table football and pool table was a great hit. Would definitely come again.

La Plaine is a lovely characterful farmhouse tucked away in a beautiful setting. It really does exceed the description. So much to do both at the property and in the area around. We recommend.

We had a super week, with the weather only failing us on the last day, so were able to make full use of the wonderful pool (safely fenced off for small children) and tennis court, and fantastic garden including feeding the chickens and picking the fruit.The nearest village, Ige, is tiny with bakery and not much else, but Belleme is delightful, with some lovely shops and restaurants.

We had a very memorable week in this charming villa. We loved the facilities like the pool, pétanque area, tennis court and pool table and had great meals outside on the terrace. Check in and check out was fine. Good wi fi. Rooms comfortable but not much hanging and storage space.

Un endroit de rêve, où le simple plaisir d'être là tous ensemble le dispute au cadre accueillant, familial et chaleureux . La piscine, le tennis quand le soleil est là, le billard et les concours de cuisine quand la pluie s'invite, les chambres confortables pour de grasses matinées paresseuses, le petit déjeuner et les repas dehors, vue sur la campagne... la cuisine immense et conviviale, parfaitement équipée pour préparer de grandes tablées... Un séjour parfait dans un cadre familial, chaleureux, accueillant, confortable et parfaitement bien équipé. Tout y est ! Quand le soleil s'invite, piscine, tennis, repos et repas à l'extérieur. Fantastisch, relaxed! Blijft een geweldig huis. Dit jaar hadden we heerlijk weer en zijn dus heel veel buiten geweest. Alles maar dan ook echt alles klopt. Dit jaar veel gebruik gemaakt van het mooie zwembad en van de tennisbaan waar we in teams een competitie speelden, als het niet te warm was, maar ook jeu de boules baan maakten iedereen fanatiek, fijn die hele mand met ballen! Op de golfbaan op 5 minuten rijden hebben we meerdere malen een rondje gelopen! Eten in het gras met s'avonds de sfeervolle verlichting in de boom. Lekkere visjes en mooi stuk vlees op de barbecue en in de fantastische keuken werden ook weer mooie gerechten gemaakt! Was weer een top week!! Wie weet volgend jaar weer! Charmant, persoonlijk, sfeervol familiehuis

Fantastisch huis met grote tuin, prachtige tennisbaan, mooi zwembad en petanque baan Vanwege het slechte weer zijn wij veel binnen geweest maar gezien de verschillende ruimtes, het poolbiljart en het voetbalspel was dat geen probleem. Wij waren met twee gezinnen waarvan 9 kinderen(incl. aanhang) tussen de 21 en 30 jaar. Een tennistoernooi werd met veel fanatisme afgerond! Superleuk. De golfbaan op 3 minuten rijden was ook geweldig. De kippen en hun verse eitjes gaven ons helemaal het plattelandgevoel! Alles is zo smaakvol ingericht. De keuken is fantastisch, werkelijk alles is aanwezig en volop glazen, borden en bestek....! Klein minpuntje is dat vanwege de hoeveelheid snuisterijen, kunst en droogboeketten het huis moeilijk is schoon te houden. Voor ons was het OK maar voor mensen met allergie misschien handig om te weten. Wij als tuiniers hadden graag de borders schoongeplukt, de hagen gesnoeid en het gras gemaaid maar wij hebben ons ingehouden 😀! Nogmaals een heerlijk huis om een fantastische vakantie te hebben! Zeer veel dank huiseigenaren!!

Idyllic vacations

One very unique experience where reality went beyond our expectations. Clearly in the top 3 best vacations of my life (and I'm 61). The house is a dream house, with amazing amenities in perfect condition (pool, tennis, barbecue and ... petanque!). Absolute silence and quietness in the middle of the fields, fully isolated by gorgeous trees and garden. 5mn away by car from a beautiful historic village with top-notch butcher, bakery and pastry. Surrounded by multiple amazing restaurants in great locations. We just didn't want to leave. Period. A little paradise in the epitome of the French countryside, only two hours away from Paris. On top of it, we got great service anytime we had questions about the house.

Large house with country charm - mix of 18th and 21st centuries

The photos don’t do this place justice. The property easily accommodated 6 adults and 5 youngsters. I don’t recall the annexe being mentioned in the details - it was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The house is a mixture of antique and modern - it felt like a real family home. The kitchen had a very rustic floor with modern units and appliances, The outdoor space was superb - lots of different areas to sit, in or out of shade and of course the pool and tennis court were constantly in use. Table tennis was a bonus. Wifi worked throughout the house and garden! No neighbours so no worry about noisy kids! Great cinema room not mentioned in the details. The « profile » pic showing the boules pitch is very odd - so much better to show the house and pool. We had a fabulous week, all helped of course by good weather.

Wonderful

The House is even More beautiful than the pictures that are shown. The kitchen is to good to be true. Everything is there to cook a lovely meal. The pool had a nice temperature and there are a lot of places in the garden where you can eat or read or just enjoy the shade. The house has a separate entrance with Some beds and a bathroom and this was perfect for our teenagers.

It feels like the home you dream of having !

Everything you see looks nice and feels nice. The beds are comfy, the pool is warm enough but still cooling when the sun is hot. The kitchen is heaven for food lovers and the house and the garden is big enough to be together but still have your own space and do what you like (Playing pool, cook, table football, swim, relax in the hammock, near the pool or in the house). For the dogs the garden was a super playground and you can take walks in the surrounding fields. No neighbors around you, just the chicken and rabbits at night. Apart from the beautyful furniture, decoration and paintings on the wall, lovely books everywhere, boardgames, tenniscourt and jeu de boule, the place is (more than) completely utilized for a relaxed stay with family and/of friends.

Cleanliness let this property down

Whilst the outside space of this property is amazing it is let down by the quality and cleanliness of the inside. The sofa was filthy and just had a blanket thrown over. The bedding was torn and stained. The bbq outside had not been emptied or cleaned. The tables were dirty and we didn’t feel we wanted to eat off them without a scrub. Worse was to come on entering the kitchen. I know that in the country you should expect flies but possibly due to lots of unclean jars and ornaments the flies here were excessive. The owner had actually hung a few sticky fly strips above the kitchen worktop but these had not been changed for quite some time and were all solid with dead and dying flies which subsequently kept falling onto the work tops and into our food. On opening any drawer or cupboard flies would fly out and they were so bad we had to keep crockery and cutlery either inside dishwasher or inside the fridge to keep them clean. We were surprised that we received an email two weeks before we arrived stating that there would be an extra charge for cleaning the property and another charge for washing of towels and bed linen. We did think that this would have been included in the price and not hidden til the last minute. On questioning this we were told we could do it ourselves on departure if we wanted but as our departure time had been shortened to 10am it was not possible to wash, dry and put away all bedding, towels and pool towels Because of this extra charge we were even more disappointed that the house was not clean on our arrival. There were no cleaning products left for us to try to clean the kitchen and we were also expected to make up our own beds on arrival. The plus side of this property is we had fantastic weather so spent our time outside where it was very peaceful with lots to do for adults and children. The pool is not very child friendly but a lovely place to sit and chill. With a deep clean, some updating and maybe fly screens this property could be amazing.

Dear Hauk - firstly apologies for not answering your feedback earlier but we never spotted this feature until recently. We sincerely apologise about the state of the BBQ as well as the used fly strips in the kitchen when you arrived: the BBQ should have been cleaned by the previous tenants and the strips should have been replaced with new ones by the cleaning lady. We have taken onboard this feedback to ensure this doesn't happen again. However, flies in the summer are part and parcel of the French countryside at that time of the year and we find strips are the best way to ensure they are appropriately managed - trust me when I say I would naturally prefer to live without them (though by your comments it seems you had the worse case of flies in the 15yrs we've owned the property)! As we don't operate a hotel, and not all the beds are always used by all our tenants, we find it better to leave the clean linen on the bed for people to use if they wish to, rather than make up all the beds only to wash them when they are not used. As for "check out", the official check out time is 10am but if we don't have another tenant coming the same day we try to be flexible and usually allow people a later checkout, so not sure what happened there. Lastly, we have re-included the cleaning costs in the price as this is simpler (we had separated it a few months before as we had one tenant wanting to clean themselves to reduce costs). Hopefully the above addresses your feedback and we're glad that flies not withstanding you enjoyed our beautiful family home. PS: as we are expecting grandchildren the pool has been completely redone and will sometime this year be made more child friendly! E.

Highly recommended family holiday property

This is a very comfortable and well equipped house. We had a very relaxed three generation family holiday and in spite of rather poor weather there was plenty to do. Excellent hard tennis court, basketball, boule, billiards etc.and not forgetting the swimming pool.
