Wonderful cabin for our family. The cabin is spacious and our kids enjoyed the arcade. The cabin was perfect for relaxing after a hike!

Best Cabin Experience

We came for our daughter’s graduation, and when she and her husband arrived, they called to tell us this was the best cabin and place they’ve ever stayed! It was clean, comfortable, and stocked with every appliance we could need. It was close enough to coffee shops :) and we even saw black bears every night. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Big Bear Ridge Lodge is as advertised! The views are beautiful and there is plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. Markus was prompt in all correspondence and delightful to work with. Thank you!

Lovely vistas. Great family time.

Big Bear Ridge is a beautiful mountain home with great scenic vistas. Our immediate family of 17 has a super time with plenty of beds and bath rooms to accommodate everyone. The house is close enough to Gatlinburg for those wanting outside activities and far enough away to feel like you’re on top of the world. Markus and Annie, the hosts, were very easy to communicate with and their digital information packet was all inclusive.

The house is amazing! We came with our church youth group from Jacksonville, FL. For a youth conference in Gatlinburg for the weekend. 19 students and 6 adults fit very comfortably. We had some very small issues that the owners took care of very fast!

Great stay!

We had an amazing friends trip here and we loved it. We are looking to go back next year. I do wish there were a couple baby gates available for stairs. But aside from that everything was great. Overall great Cabin!!!

Wonderful

Went with my friends to celebrate our 30th birthdays and 20+ years of friendship. We had an amazing time staying in the cabin. Large and very beautiful. Comes with a great view of the mountains. We definitely plan to come back.

A PERFECT STAY!

These hosts thought of everything to make this a memorable stay. The communication prior to us getting there, to their daily “check in” texts were exceptional! The property was immaculate, great amenities and breathtaking views. Would definitely recommend this to others!

Amazing Trip!

The cabin was amazing - honestly so much bigger than the pictures can even reveal. We had a blast with our two families and plenty of space. Everything was clean and everyone was helpful. Couldn't have been better!

Fit all our needs!

This property could not have worked out any better. We loved our stay and the owners communicated with us multiple times to check on us. If we ever make our way back, we will definitely stay here again.

Best cabin Hands down!!!!

Everything about this cabin was perfect! The view from the balcony was the best. The kids never really wanted to leave. Next time I come to Gaitlinburg. Im definitely wanting this place again

Stunning Cabin!

Absolutely luxurious and stunning cabin. Amazing views. My only feedback is that it is 40 min to Pigeon Forge and about 20+ min to downtown Gatlinburg. Would definitely recommend!

We're so glad that you all enjoyed your stay at our cabin, Tracy! With its beautiful location with a large private plot and stunning views of the Smokies, it more than makes up for the short drive to Gatlinburg. Note also that you access Gatlinburg via the East Parkway and you're therefore very unlikely to run into much traffic even in high season (unlike some other locations that might look like they are closer to downtown Gatlinburg). For Pigeon Forge, you're well located to access it via the backroads so you can avoid the North-South Parkway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge when the traffic is bad.

Beautiful Mountain Home for your large family

We’ve been to Big Bear Lodge with our family multiple times. This house is perfect for a large group. Markus & Annie are excellent host. I highly recommend this house or their others. They make sure their homes are in excellent condition and have the amenities you want while on vacation.

Beautiful Mountain View, Large Cabin

It is a great home to stay in for several evenings. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, jacuzzi tub, swing set, and a pleasant walk to the creek. The view was beautiful. We compared it to others we almost rented, and the way it faced the mountain was ideal. We love that it had yard space to explore and breathe. There was plenty of space to relax while the kids roamed around. It felt very safe.

Family vacation

It was absolutely beautiful! We loved it! We saw a bear almost every day which was pretty exciting for us! The drive up the mountain was a little scary for us (we are not at all used to that kind of steep and sharp curves)! We would absolutely go back again!
