A one-bedroom studio nestled into the Nature's Playground area, the cabin is walking (or hopping) distance (about 3/4 mile) from the beauty of Broken Bow Lake. Explore your idyllic locale with a short drive to the serenity of Beavers Bend State Park, the Beavers Bend Marina, or the pleasures and play available in Hochatown.

Runaway Rabbit is your happy hideaway and your headquarters for area activities, including hiking, kayaking or canoeing, horseback riding, wine tasting, zip-lining, mountain biking, swimming, boating, and so much more!

Runaway Rabbit is 570 well-appointed square feet. A bevy of large windows at all heights allows you to enjoy the paradise of nature or the privacy of seclusion. Granite counters line the gorgeous full kitchen, ready for cooking-in or just tucking in to takeout (or grilling out back!). The lovely full bath offers a bathtub and shower combination. Luxurious linens and towels invite you to indulge in a serene soak. Direct TV and a DVD player entertain indoors, while outside adventures include a campfire area - perfect for scrumptious s'mores and tall tales - and a horseshoe pit for competition...or comedy. This lovers' retreat is complete with a peaceful and private hot tub under the covered back porch.

Runaway Rabbit comfortably sleeps two.

This cabin is designed for romance and is for adults only.

EXCEEDING OCCUPANCY IS NOT ALLOWED AT THIS CABIN.

DOG friendly for small DOGS (25 lbs or less, 2 DOG Maximum). $50 DOG Fee per DOG.

Attention Needsd

Back door was unlocked upon arrivalIce maker hose was leaking causing water to seep through wall behind and into bathroom. Maintenance called upon noticing. Fixed problem. Motion detector flood light went on and off every few minutes during the night keeping us awake. Toilet runs off and on. No Kleenex anywhere.

Honeymoon

Very peaceful and perfect place to get away and enjoy ourselves after our wedding. Everything we needed (besides personal items and food) was available. Would recommend the Runaway Rabbit and we will be back.

Perfect getaway

This cabin was exactly what we needed. We felt right in the middle of nature, we even saw a family of deer pass by from the hot tub! Instructions were clear and easy and the recommendations were great. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

A beautiful get away!!

Loved this place, a very quiet place to enjoy time away from home.. Directions were exactly right on. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin!!

Not as private as it looks on-line

We thought it would be a little more private but there was a travel trailer parked about 50 yards behind the cabin.

Enjoyed our stay

The cabin is secluded, small but plenty big enough for 2 people. There's not much within walking distance but attractions are just a short drive away. The hot tub, fire pit, and grill all worked very well. Short drive from beaver bend state park. Would definitely stay here again.
